Add my name to the list of people ripped off by Just-Leather.com. I ordered a leather jacket for my son on November 21, 2004 and my checking account was debited on November 22, 2004 for $70+. The confirmation from the company said the item would ship in 1-3 business days.

When it never arrived, I emailed and phoned them several times and received no response. Finally, after writing an angry email, I got both an email and phone response. The email response was nonsensical. The phone response promised delivery shortly and gave a different excuse than the email about why the product didn't arrive.

Needless to say, the product did not ship that week as promised, I never got a UPS tracking number from them as promised in a subsequent phone call, and their promise that the item would definitely arrive before Christmas never materialized.

I've phoned my bank and have asked that the debit to my checking account be reversed. I've also filed a complaint with the New Jersey Better Business Bureau, and will next file a complaint with the New Jersey Consumer Affairs Department.

Mr. Sherman should start a web site called Lies.com because that is exactly what he has provided me in each email and phone correspondence I've had with him.

And by the way Mr. Sherman, in response to your rebuttal on this web site asking that folks come forward with their order # and specific complaints, my order number was 2070, it was a bomber jacket (size small), the order was placed November 21, 2004, and your string of lies have ensued since.

To Whom it May Concern: Please be advised that my firm is legal counsel to Matthew Sherman and his business Just Leather. I am compelled to post this communication as a result of various offensive and malignant comments posted by someone who identifies himself as "Jason." Rest assured that none of Jason's comments regarding Mr. Sherman personally or his business are, by any stretch of the imagination, accurate. Mr. Sherman does not even have a son! Further, contrary to "Jason's" latest missive, Mr. Sherman and I did, in fact, visit Fort Dix to confront "Jason." The Fort Dix Police Department assisted us and actually visited the address provided by "Jason." No one lives at that address. The home has been vacant for quite some time. We believe that "Jason" is actually an individual who purchased a former business from Mr. Sherman and is frustrated at his inability to be as successful as Mr. Sherman was with that business. It is a shame that he must resort to such childish, immature antics designed solely for the purpose of maligning and embarrassing my clients, and interfering with his business endeavors. Formal complaints have been filed with the Fort Dix Police Department and the Freehold Township Police Department. We have also notified the federal authorities who are now, through an IP search, confirming our suspicions regarding Jason's" true identify. Mr. Sherman intends to prosecute any and all viable charges to the fullest extent possible. People like "Jason," who hide behind apparent anonymity must be taught that this type of conduct will not be tolerated and that, ultimately, they will be held accountable for their actions. This is in response to Matthew Shermans recent posts. Currently I am in Wrightstown AFB doing some software and tech support for the local server. I am appauled at Matthew Sherman because he has lied and lied to get out of this act in which I caught him doing. I know what I heard, in regards to him smacking/hitting his boy for not hiding his dad's wereabouts. I checked with the onbase MP in charge and he has no such complaint made against an internet harasser to my current address. I even gave Matthew Sherman my address in a previous post and he never once showed up. I find Matthew Sherman is a coward. How did I threaten him? I only invited him to the local Anapas Diner because he might need it after visiting me. I in no way threatened his life or property in anyway. He is the most condenscending, melo-dramatic, pathological lying, coward I've heard of. Matthew says something, but never delivers. He put his foot in his mouth over this one. He rips consumers off everyday. He lies and deceives to get out of shipping jackets. I think Matthew needs to move out of his apartment if he wants to have better business organization. Matt needs to join the military. He will have discipline and motive. The army can make him "be all that he can be" instead of "bankrupt as he can be." Tough living in the civilian world and being as deceptive as Matthew Sherman, he can't even take care of his family. Please avoid all dealings with this man. He needs some help. Thank you,

Do a chargeback ASAP with your credit card firm....Also his check seem to bounce so you will have to file with the following sites and hope he takes you seriously. From what I see posted there are two people Mr. Sherman gave bounced checks too. So beware.....
