JustFab is a Shady and Desperate Company 


 


I ordered 2 pairs of shoes for $30.00 and I love them. But those fabulous shoes came with a bigger price tag.  Using my smartphone to order, didn't help either.  I couldn't see the 'details' of the vip membership on my smart phone.


 


The way justfab works, is very shady. As a consumer and a working professional with a family I like to shop for deals especially online.  I didn't know your "vip" membership was tricky.  I was lead to believe I was getting a free pair of shoes, as justfab stated there was a $39.95 "credit" on my account the email stated $ 0.00 for my charges when I ordered a nice pair of shoes.  


 


But in fact it wasn't $0.00 it was $39.95 in my bank of america checking account. I was devastated when I saw my checking account overdrawn for $74.95, and with bank of america if the amount isn't paid in full in 5 days you are then charged another $35.00 fee.  Can you imagine, $109.95 for a pair of $39.95 shoes I thought were free?  I was disgusted.


 


I spoke to a representative at justfab, she explained how justfab works and I thought it is just shady and desperate and she basically told me "sorry", I had to pay my own $35.00 fee back to the bank and when the shoes are delivered I would have to send them back and then I will have my $39.95 refunded to my checking account and of course it is $39.95 minus the re-stocking fees. 




 


I asked to speak to a supervisor, and I couldn't believe what the representative said to me.  She asked me why I would like to speak to a supervisor.  I was already furious and irate, I asked her to use her common sense and imagination to figure out why I want to speak to a supervisor. She told me the supervisor would tell me the same thing she is telling me and could not issue me a refund. I pushed the issue and eventually I was on hold for a supervisor.


 


After putting me on hold and coming back to the line a few times I was eventually on the phone with a supervisor, Carrie.  The rep did thank me for holding.  I explained to Carrie my situation and she explained how justfab works.  I began telling her how shady and underhanded the "vip" membership is and she did in fact agree with me.  I basically said something along the lines of "...do you see how shady this works..." and Carrie said "yes".  


 


She then issued me a refund.  I thanked God, then I thanked her because I didn't have any money in my bank account and I was about to pay $70.00 in overdraft fees plus a re-stocking fee for shoes I thought were free. 


 


What an experience. Never again. I will never shop with just fab again. I'm sure they make money with consumers, why do they have to be so desperate.  Stop tricking your customers.
