About 8 months ago i purchased a pair of 20$ boots on sale on justfab.com. when finalizing the purchase there is one way to conclude your pruchase and you must click a button labeled "i accept". i clicked it. months later i found out that button signed me up for a VIP membership which means i was then charged 39.95$ a month for 8 months until i noticed it. i called the fraud department of my bank and they then called justfab.com trying to retrieve my 8 months worth of charges of 39.95$ in membership fees. justfab has a policy that they will only return 2 months worth and when we argued them they agreed to refund 4 months worth. i then was told i had a credit of the last four 39.95 credits to use. the last thng i wanted to do was ever shop at justfab.com again after what they did but was forced to use my 160$ credit. when calling to use it (since id never order over the internet again) i was then told i could only use the four 39.95$ credits on four items worth exactly 39.95$. i couldnt use the total amount as a whole number. so i had no choice but to choose four pairs of shoes worth 39.95$ each. the entire experience was horrible. i would never ever reccomend anyone using this site. besides for the money experience being horrible the shoes i purchased all fell apart within 3 months.

Yes if you clicked on terms and conditions you would read in large font that you were automatically being signed up for this membership and charged monthly. However when i go online to buy a half off 20$ pair of boots that fell apart a month later.... and it asks me to click "i accept" buttons to move on with my payment i dont look to much into it. i just want to make my purchase. i happent o know i am one of hundreds of people who feel scammed. Its not acceptable to automaticallt sign anyone up for anything. large print or not.

If you go to the justfab website it tells you what the terms of VIP membership are when you join. In fact, the font is huge!

Here is the part that applies to the monthly fee:

No Obligation to buy. Just Skip The Month.

If you you're not ready to make a purchase, simply Skip The Month by the 5th and you will not be charged. Skip as many months as you'd like. You can always come back and shop at any point during the month. If you do not Skip by the 5th, you will be charged $39.95 for a member credit, which can be used toward any JustFab style at any time.

So I have no idea how you could have missed it because in this case it is not buried in the fine print, it was in very large font under the VIP program benefits.

Next time read the terms before you click "I accept" and you will save yourself a bundle. Or, check your statements monthly. Or, preferably, do both: read and check your statements. If you don't you will constantly be 'surprised' by miscellaneous charges showing up on your statements.
