Heads up to any business or persons affected by the recent hurricanes:
A failed San Antonio-based contractor named JW Edwards under several Aliases is currently working throughout South Texas, using multiple business names, websites and profiles, including LinkedIn and Facebook.
Currently, he is offering his services among other things as a home remodeler, life/fitness coach, hawking fitness & vitamin supplements, real estate developer, Real Estate Development Management, Construction Management, Finance Acquisition, Oil & Gas Development & Exploration. (Note: most of these businesses no longer exist - for example, his construction company is kaput and the oil company where he claims to be the current "Managing Director" severed all association with him months ago.)
Anyone considering a business or personal association with JW should tread very, very carefully. Based on an extensive history of extremely negative experiences, we strongly advise anyone considering becoming involved with JW Edwards first run a thorough background check, rather than rely on his dubious references and work history. Two good very good places to start would be the Secretary of State franchise tax website, and a free search on the civil and criminal records for Bexar County, Texas.
