This company sent me a phony invoice marked URGENT for Local Service Business Register and Listing advertising for the amount of$719.95 via FAX They have a repayment form /invoice with a section for credit card number and CSC number that they want faxed back to them. If I don't send it they say that though their typical policy is not to use outside collection service that they are a reporting agent to all the major credit agencies. It's interesting that I only recently signed up to 411.ca, a legitimate company. These scammers must be trolling 411.ca listings. They almost fooled me but something didn't quite add up. Their website is a joke and I checked to see if the had our name listed and the heading under which it would have been listed - no matches.

Cousumers should be aware that ripoffreport.com is not akin to the better business burear of the FTC or any legal bodies for that matter. I sure anyone with issues can contact the compaines themselfes to resolve issues. I noticed as well you can easily pay ripoffreport.com to remove any negative comments haha.

This compaint was lodged by 411.ca as we ypp411.com and yelllowphonepages.com are not only real but a real threat to the real scam artist.
In this complanit they claim 411 to be legal yet you can read hundreds of compaints against them where there try and collect for anyone posting online. Hard to belieive ripoff report is so unreliable as a source.
If this was a real customer compaining they would have contacted us first as we have been in business for over 20 years.
