We ordered a 5 x 6 x 24 Ultimate Kennel on May 24th.  Total cost including shipping was $1,850 and we paid shipping plus an extra $50 for residential delivery.  The contract states shipping will take 5-10 working days.  After several emails to the company, our kennel was finally going to be delivered today, June 26th, five weeks after ordering it!  We had attempted to have the ordered cancelled because it was taking so long, but were told we would have to pay a $300 restocking fee because the kennel had already been built.  We told them okay, if it's been built, maybe you could...er...pretty please...ship it?

The delivery company called and wanted to know if we had men to help unload it?  Huh?  They said it was too heavy for the driver to unload and if we couldn't provide some help, they couldn't deliver.  They said the company hadn't paid for unloading!  I emailed K9kennels and told them that the only one home was my husband because he was recovering from rotator cuff surgery and was still in a sling.

There response was, perhaps he could help anyway?  After all it's a very heavy delivery and it would be hard for one guy to do it himself!  They even offered to pay us to unload it...or rather they would reimburse us to do it.  This kennel easily weighs several hundred pounds!  Amazingly, we don't have a forklift lying around and what are we supposed to do...start knocking on the neighbors doors?  Each time we have contacted the company, the customer service people are very rude to us and they have you on the restocking fee, so they know that they can pretty much treat you any way they want.

I don't know if we will get our kennel today or not, K9 got their money from us over a month ago!

Even if K9 products are good, the hassle, delays and treatment from the customer service staff makes it not worth it.  There are other companies out there that welcome business, I would go elsewhere.

I am sorry about your experience.  We just filed a report also because of the bad customer service and the very bad quality.  Thinking about it....we also paid the extra $50 and my 72 year old father and my husband that had neck surgery had to unload the kennels.  The quality is very bad and K9 Kennel Store will be nice to you until they get there money.  Tractor supply has better kennels and options plus has better kennels also.  This company is a joke!
