I looked on my financial page and saw that not only was everything supposed to be covered but I would get money back for living expenses. Kaplan is saying I owe them $684 for two quarters, which they conveniently let me know after the end of the second quarter. The grants and student loan were supposed to cover everything, as I was told before I signed up for Kaplan. Boy, what a joke! Now I "owe" Kaplan and Chase Bank over $8000 for two quarters!

If you were a Kaplan student you would have know that on your home page there is a tab to your account. It is your responsibility to monitor your own account. I have completed a degree with Kaplan University and have received my degree. I was very pleased with the Kaplan experience and have now started on my Master's degree with them. Once a week I monitor my account and if I have a problem I call on the spot. You are an adult and it is your responsibility to monitor your account. I give Kaplan University 5 stars. Dee

Kaplan is known for screwing up people's finances. You can file a complaint with their accrediting body (North Central). That might help. Here's their website: (((Redacted)))
