Kaplan University, beware! Military service personnel beware, regular citizens beware! Kaplan took my money, when I complained about Sherri Campbell Wallen, an instructor, as believe is racist, and asked for my money back in a Masters Degree level course, after I complainced to Lori Tripoli and the Dean and Wade d**e,, they locked my account, froze me from my classes and I have multiple issues contacting to get my transcripts and refund of some $7,800.00 owed to me plus a refund for the class they locked me out of. If anyone wants to join a class action lawsuit for similar treatment, please call (((Redacted))) possibly there can be a class action. If your considering attending Kaplan, beware, beware, beware. Is there is a instructor named Sherri Campbell Wallen in your future double beware. This Tessa Holst you must watch out for, she is a racist in my opinion, anong whth Sharri Campbell Wallen, at attorney in Palm Beach Florida, beware. If you have a choice, go to another university, Kaiser is one option, take it from a student got screwwed by these people, go to another university.

I am schoked that Tessa Holst's name is not plastered all over this site and many others. She is some old Avon lady given a fake title like "Assistnat Dean" of one of the colleges at Kaplan. She believes it is her job to judge and eliminate those students who show any indication that they realize Kaplan is not a real university, and that they are getting absoultely nothing from their over-priced joke of an education. Kaplan is the Isalnd of Misfit toys. Only students who would never be admitted elsewhere belong there.
The few capable students who somehow stumble into Kalan unaware of that are quickly targeted and taken down. Some of the most ignorant people you will ever encounter will be handed degrees from Kaplan for no other reason than keeping their mouths shut about what a joke it is. No need to do any work, or learn anything.
Two or three sentences posted to the Kaplan discussion boards each week will earn you any degree, even a Masters degree. But dare ask any question about the quality of the education, your instructors, or the totally incompetent non-English speaking administration and you will be fraudulently set up to be dismissed. And still on the hook for thousands of dollars wasted on courses that be will not be accepted for transfer at any real university.
That is when the fraudulent email from Tessa Holst shows up dismissing you for some totally fabricated reason. No opportunity to repspond to the fake charges. No avenue for appeal. Even her phone number is removed from the letterhead because she is too cowardly and ignorant to defend herself. This is apparently the only thing in life that can give her any self-esteem--- attacking students who are far more capable and intelligent than herself. And Kaplan is the only school that would ever entrust someone like her to make such unfairly unilateral decisions.
To anyone considering pursuing a degree at Kaplan, I emplore you.... look elsewhere...anywhere!!! This is not a real education or a useful degree!!
