Kar Depo, (not Kar Depot), who is in Garden Grove is a rip off car dealership. They are located at: 13861 Harbor Blvd Garden Grove, CA 92843. Their phone number 714 265 9500. Beware of this car dealership.

Here's how they work. They buy cars and/or trucks from auctions from other states, that may have been stolen or have a lien on the vehicle. They then sell it to you, keeping your money and putting your life in legal hell.

I purchased a truck from these guys in October of 2008. I paid for the truck with cash/cashiers check. Its now April 2009, and I have yet to have gotten my pink slip. They claim its the DMV, the DMV says that Kar Depo hasn't completed the necessary paperwork due to the fact that the truck may have been stolen or has a lien.

We have been in touch with Kar Depo EVERY month, and each time I speak to someone different each time (of Persian descent). Each time, "everything has been taken care of" they say. And each month I go through the same process.

Recently one of the salereps told me that the truck doesn't have a registration at all. This sale rep is leaving the dealership now that he knows how they operate.

So, I'm out $18,500 and I am driving around in a stolen truck from another state.

By the time you find this out, the dealership has been in business for 12 months and then relocates. They told me that they had been there 17 years! That's a lie. They move around from lot to lot selling cars and trucks with liens from other states or stolen and resold at auctions from other states.

Just know this, they lie. They will lie to you every month and tell you the same story each and every month.

Please beware of Kar Depo (not Car Depot or Kar Depot). Remember that Kar Depo is the name spelled with a "K" and without a "T". Tricky aren't they??

First of all the only true thing he wrote was, that he spoke to a person of persian decent. He spoke to me and I am of Swedish decent but there is no mention of that? If that has anything to do with the selling of cars. We buy our cars from Banks, Ford Motor Credit, Chrysler Credit, etc... They do not sell "stolen" cars nor do we buy them. We have been in business at the same location over 6 years under the same name (Kar Depo) & have sold thousands of vehicles & are in very good standing with the Better Business Bureau. Our name is Kar Depo spelled with a "K" and with no "T" but since we are not the only one with that name in the auto business we had to be unique for advertising purposes. The truck in question was registered in California so therefore could NOT have been "stolen" as was inferred. If this person whose real name is NOT "MICHAEL"...(obviously has no juevos) had not tried to register the Truck out of state before all the necessary DMV paperwork had been completed (which immediately halted all progress at the Ca DMV). By the way "MICHAEL" if the truck was stolen and you have been driving it for 6 months you would have probably been arrested by now. As in the movie My Cosin Vinny when he first went to court, in his opening statement, he said: "Everything that he just said is BULL***!!" Sincerely Brad, Kar Depo
