I was approached by a guy named Andreas selling home electronics & security. I was told by this individual he worked for his uncle's Harmon Kardon Store & was selling some items for him showed me a catalog & I bought a home theater system after getting home to realize it was not Harmon kardon.

Now I was gonna tell your so called smart a** office it wasn't about any money just lost my family member & I was showing compassion for what was told to me so excuse me for still be a person that cares I just posted so this doesn't happen to anyone's else in their weakest hour but that just goes to show people like you stain this world so you be blessed God is my weapon against all you haters...

So it is totally logical and normal for you to be approached in a parking lot by a guy trying to sell you a home theater system for pennies on the dollar.
Yet you are suprised you got scammed?
Yes I am sure you were thinking the entire time "Wow..I am lucky this guy stopped me", while this guy was thinking the entire time "Wow...I could tell this guy would fall for it".
Now you are not totally to blame, after all these people are good at picking out the gullible and people who will let their greed get the best of them. They know how to hit all of the hot buttons and make it sound totally legitimate. After all what son doesn't go around in a parking lot selling merchandise for his family at a 90% discount?
By the way if you didn't get at least 90% off of the catalog price you truly did get scammed because you will find reports where these people are so desparate to sell that they will keep offering you a lower price until you agree.
