Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
In May of 2004 I and my Roommate bought a KDS USA which had the following on it:

Product No: XF-7b

Model: 786N

Product Series: DZ-777NS

Mfg Date: February 2004

100-24DVAC, 50/60Hz, 1.8A

Under the Barcode was this:

WZQD042021942U

And if you look at this website below you will see that this model has already been discontinued:

http://www.kdsusa.com/DiscontinuedProduct.asp

If you look under X-Flat you will see that XF-7b is on there. Wonder why it was discontinued maybe because of the same reason?

So Mrs. Patricia Bueno has accused me of pulling harshly cord and has said also it might have been caused unintentionally. But anyhow they are saying because of the inner wires of the cord being exposed it's not under warranty and thus I would have to pay a total of $218.40 which includes the $30.00 fee to get the cable replaced. My mother wrote to this woman who has no manners and no respect because she accused me of doing harm to the cable when I got taught better not to pull on cables and have never done so. Here is the last email that she sent to my mother:

Date: Fri Mar 17 19:41:30 2006

From: Patricia Bueno

To: email address

Subject: RE: Mrs.Patricia Bueno:

Mr. Maguire,

The explanation once again is that the cable is not covered due to the fact that the inner wires are exposed. The reason the emails from your son were

forwarded to management was for them to see the kind of rude emails your son was sending me. This would allow them to review the entire situation and advise me if I the information I gave to him was correct. They did agree that by the photos provided with the inner wires exposed we could not replace the cable free of charge.

We cannot refer you or your son to a local repair shop because warranty and out of warranty repairs are handled by us. Again, I have advised your son what this option is. Please do not send any more emails to me on this same issue. I will also advise management that I have relayed the option to you as being the final and only solution. Please contact the customer service department for an rma# to send the unit in with $30.00 payment to replace the cable.

Sincerely,

Patricia

This Company has also got a F from the Better Business Bureau which the report is available at this link below:

http://www.labbb.org/BBBWeb/Forms/Business/CompanyReportPage_Expository.aspx?CompanyID=13038482

Or you can read this below what it says on the BBB Website:

F-We strongly question the company's reliability for reasons such as that they have failed to respond to complaints, their advertising is grossly misleading, they are not in compliance with the law's licensing or registration requirements, their complaints contain especially serious allegations, or the company's industry is known for its fraudulent business practices.

I hope that this company will get either straightened out of shut down. I can't believe what kind of companies that are ripping people off all over the USA and the Government don't seem to care and neither does the BBB apparently or else there would have been investigations by now and they would have been shut down like ENRON. I also filed a BBB Report against them and so has other people also.

STOP! ..before you think about using the Better Business Bureau (BBB)... CLICK HERE to see how other consumers were victimized by the BBB's false or misleading information. Don't be fooled! It has been reported, when there are thousands of complaints and other investigations underway by authorities, the BBB has no choice but to finally give an UNsatisfactory rating to a BBB member business that is paying the BBB big membership fees every year. When a business is reported that is NOT a BBB member, BBB files WILL more likely show an UNsatisfactory rating, then reportedly shake down that company to become a member of the BBB. One positive thing about the BBB is, either way, if a business has an unsatisfactory rating with the BBB, you can be sure, the business is bad. But what about all those BBB member businesses that had complaints filed against them? Consumers never get to hear about them. What about the BBB advertising to the public? Is this a false and misleading perception they are giving about consumer confidence when dealing with a business? Click here to understand more of what consumers and business alike are saying about the BBB. You decide. ..Remember. The BBB membership is not earned, it's paid for!
