Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Beware do not drive for this company, they are a unsafe company and i had mulitable incidents with them the last being a new trailer that lost all brakes going from Wisconsin to Virginia with a load of beer. I called the company and told them what happened and the owner told me that there is nothing wrong with the trailer because it was new and i did not know what i was talking about. He told me to bring the loaded trailer back to Wisconsin with no brakes even though i weighed 77,000 lbs. I called the Indiana State Police and asked them to send out a Motor Vehicle Inspector to put trailer out of service which they did. I asked the Inspector if he could talk to my boss which he did and my boss started to tell the Inspector that he did not know what he was doing and there is nothing wrong with the trailer because it was new, can you believe this?. I brought the trailer back after i had it fixed. Every time in the past when there were equipment problems the owner would become mad and out of control, he has some mental health issues big time. This is a Bosnian owned company and there are far from being professionally run. They had there Authority pulled last year because of how wreckless they ran the company with hours of service, Now they are not paying for the last runs that i made, told me that i refused that load which i did not, all they wanted to know was when i was going to back in Wisconsin with the trailer, they never asked me to continue with the load. Now they owe me $880.00 which they are not paying, i filed a claim against them with the state labor board and i know i'm going to small claims with this, but knowing i'll never see my money because the lobor board and the courts have no teeth. So again stay away from this company and this goes to all drivers living in southeastern Wisconsin.

Let's be truthful here. You were denied unemployment and again, the owner was extremely nice and gave you your job back. But let's put this in the past and move on! You couldn't ask for better people to work for,no they aren't perfect but have big hearts

Driver failed to inspect

#3UPDATE Employee ..inside information

Driver left Milwaukee with load, passed countless truck stops. Was less then 3 miles from truck stop.was asked if he could make it to truck stop for repair being he already made it through Chicago and passed many of them. Officer pulled him over driving on shoulder of road without flashers on. Had said driver done proper inspection he would have never left Milwaukee. I've worked for kela as a driver and now a owner operator for over 3yrs. Never have the athorities been revoked. I remember having a conversation with owner about this and his remarks were,he needs to stop giving stupid people a chance. I agreed! After 30 yrs of driving, i see the quality of drivers small companies have apply are all the ones who can't get a job at a big company. Because of their performance on the job previous! UNPROFESSIONAL lack common sense and have bad attitudes. Kela pays drivers good, paid holiday, bonus on milage, not fuel milage ,paid vacation. All benefits start on day one. All equipment is less then 4yrs old and updated at 4yrs. So don't think this driver has no fault in this matter.

This is not a rebuttal but to let everyone know that I'm back driving for Kela Transport, and have been for 5 months. After about 9 months after my report, Samir called and wanted to talk to me and said he had a truck for me. He said that the report and that incident did not do either of us any good, I agreed and have stated that I wish that all of this did not happened. We talked a few times and it seems Samir has changed. He put me in a new truck and so far everything is going great, His company gets me home for doctor appointments and ect. I just wish the past did not happen, I'm getting to old for this stuff.

Sounds like another truck stop rambo...I had the pleasure of working for these people , and have never driven BETTER maintained equipment , nor have been treated better than my experience w/them...You obviously have an axe to grind with them for some reason, but I am calling BS...When trailer brakes , or tractor brakes fail, they LOCK THE BRAKES and the vehicle stops...Period...The only exception to this , is when an inexperienced driver burns up the brakes going down a mountain... I would never hesitete to recommend this firm to anyone...Yes , they are Bosnian people...They also have a work ethic you do not have, and a terriffic knowledge of the trucking business....The only reason you felt it necessary to mention their ethnic background , is that you are obviosly racist...You probably refer to everyone as krouts, pollacks, kikes, etc....By the way,i been running up & down these ole highways in a truck for over 30 years and consider myself quite well-versed on the industry....

Hi, I found out that I cannot remove the post that I stated that I would. And I'm sorry for that as it's out of my hands. So I will report again that Kela Transport did pay me the money owed but that I make an error in saying that the amount was $880.00 and I was wrong about that. The correct amount was $746.92 which you paid in full. Thank You and sorry that it had to end this way.
