Kelleher and Associates advertises and sells themselves, at a premium, as an upscale matchmaking service that takes particular care to introduce individuals with similiar interests and backgrounds. In the year that I've been with them, I been "introduced" to 5 individuals, with whom I had virtually nothing in common despite my profile. I've discussed the problem with Sherry, as well as the lack of attention paid to their clients (I've gone for months without hearing from them) with virtually no resolution, although she did admit to me on the phone in December that the database here in Dallas (and TX) was highly limited. Had I been told that initially, I might not have signed up with them or I might have expanded the area that I signed up for. Knowing what I know now, I would NOT have signed up with them - I'm not in their business and I can do a better job of matching people than they can. Two of the individuals I've been introduced to have had the same experience with them, based on our phone conversations. I have an acquaintance who recently signed up with them who has stated that she is not being introduced to anyone with whom she has anything in common. It appears to be basically a scam - a very expensive scam. $6,500 for women and $10,000 for men. I've gone out with 3 of the 5 introductions - that's approximately $2,100 per date. I could have done quite a bit more with that money than gone out on 3 rather atrocious dates. So, the bottom line here for everyone is do NOT sign up with Kelleher and Associates under any circumstances. They do not know what they are doing; they do not have any sort of decent, available database in TX; and they not have a clue of how to run a service-oriented business.

Even Ex-Employees say this is a scam and a rip-off

To hear an ex-employee decry Kelleher & Associates for being a scam is truly heartening to the thousands of men and women this company has duped into signing up for their dating services. It's no surprise to me that this company values salesmen over matchmakers and don't care about offering a truly quality service so long as sales are up. These people lie to you just like all salespeople do. They are crooks and should be shut down.

You're absolutely right, they are scamming you. They are not in the least interested in setting you up on dates, they only want to get your check. They write the contract very well, so all they have to do is "try" to set you up on dates, and it lets them off the hook. This business should really be illegal, but it's not. They'll string you along with promises, promises, promises just to get your check. Employee meetings centered on ways to sign people up and keep the checks flowing far more than they ever did on making matches.
