Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Prior to making the decision to apply for this company, I looked up any info I could find, whether it was good or bad. I discovered many negative reports on this company. Even though I read these, I decided they were probably disgruntled employees. So I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they were most likely not add bad as I heard. Upon pulling into the property, the initial report of the office being in the same mobile home that the family lived in, was on point. The cleanliness was disappointing. I did not get an opportunity to see the "driver amenities" outside. However, the indoor company restroom was horrendous. OSHA would have a field day based on what little I witnessed. Thick black mold growing in the bathtub and toilet, toddler clothes stuck to the floor. Black mold covering the floor. Appears that zero attempts of cleaning that area in at least 6 months. The reports of constant screaming thoroughout the office and house was surprisingly very accurate. I assumed that report was just a bad day at the office. But wow..... I was there maybe 4 hours and there was arguing and screaming amongst themselves almost continuously. If the screaming wasn't in the office area, it could be heard in the living area. On top of the family in fighting, they called a driver and screamed at him over the phone for not making a delivery on time. Screaming and cussing in front of me. Then asked me in a condescending tone a question about driving. No intro as to who she was, just a demeaning way to interrogate someone. At that moment, I knew I was not in a place I wanted to be. I served ten years in the army, was a Staff Sargeant and had my fair share of altercations. But the unprofessionallism and blatant disrespect they show to drivers is ridiculous to say the least.

I skipped breakfast to arrive at the office on time to start the orientation. Once I decided I didn't want any part of this company, I was looking for a way out without causing a scene. Bc based on how they were acting, it would have been a gauntlet trying to get our of there if I said I changed my mind on employment there. I told them I was hungry and was going to grab some lunch and they kept telling me to wait, over and over. they were adamant about me not leaving unless it was with one of them for the road test. I finally stood up and said, I started to lose patience with being kind. I said I'm hungry and I'm leaving. And drove straight home.

Other issues include fines they charge the driver. And the $10 they charge to direct deposit to a local bank or $30 charge to a bank that is not local. That's the least of the concerns. That being said, the entire experience wasnt horrible. Their main dispatcher was a sweet heart. Very kind, very professional. She was the main reason that I did not want to speak my mind. If it weren't for Darla, that place would have been a total disaster. So, simply put, I now know that these reports are very accurate. This place seems like the place to go to if no other companies will hire you.
