I placed an order on Kohl's.com today for 3 items total of $37.53. I received an email from Kohl's an hour after placing it saying we had to modify your order and they cancelled 1 item.

I immediately called as soon as i read the email which was less then 2 hours from placing the order to inquire why they cancelled my item and was told it was out of stock but the website wasn't updated. I asked them to cancel the rest of the order since it's an outfit and i won't wear the top without the bottom, doesn't make sense.

To my shock, i was told sorry it's too late to cancel, the order has been processed. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told no refunds can be processed at this point and there's nothing they can do. I insisted to cancel as they are the ones that cancelled part of my order and screwed it up not me and that was less than 2 hours ago.

The supervisor was so rude and said i have to wait until i get the package then return it and pay for the return shipping and then they will refund me...WTH... First of all the 2 items that they are sending cost $19.00 but they still charged the whole $37.53 to my card.

I told the manager the USA law gives the customer the right to cancel any order and get a refund with in the first 3 days from purchasing so i need my refund now. He says yes he knows the law but still can't cancel my order as it's too late.

I was pretty upset and said i will contact my bank and dispute and the supervisor said go ahead...

Terrible service, Kohl's is totally scamming people with online order and promissing to give kohl's cash rewards and you never get it.

I am still waiting on $10.00 promised via email over a month ago and never received it. And now they are scamming me again for my $37.53 that i didn't get anything for.

I will be contating the attornet general and the BBB since they need to know the scams Kohl's is running.

You can write who ever you want, they will tell you the same thing.  There is NO such law.  The law you think you are refering to has to do with Door to Door Salesman and in some states things such as Time Shares or other vacation packages.  There is NO law that says a customer has the right to return any item from any business as long as they do it within 3 days.

By the way they are not saying you can't return it..they are just saying you now have to wait until you receive it to get it.   As to the shipping, you can return the item directly to a Kohl's store and avoid paying shipping back.

As for your Higher Authority...I didn't know Hebrew National delt with consumer complaints. :-)  Oh and if you don't get that little bit of sarcasm..perhaps you should do a search.

No I do not now or ever have worked for Kohl's, and nothing you have written shows a RipOff..Inconvienient..yes but NOT a RipOff.

Oh and yes you have my permission to send this "sarcastic" report to these people as well.

It's pretty clear that Khl's is a professional scammer at this point and just steal peoples' money. I filed a report with the BBB and attorney general and submitted your sarcastic rebuttal as well. The matter is handled by higher authorities now not a supervisor over the phone who doesn't do his job. Kohl's corporate will be receivithe both reports in the mail.

 Can you provide a link to that law?  I didn't know about it and I want to read it for myself before I quote it to anyone.
