Koons Auto Outlet Total Rip off Please avoid Woodbridge Virginia
On March 27 I purchased a car with the intent when I left all the paperwork was fine along with the financing. Four days later I get a call from Allen a sales rep that I need to come back to Woodbridge ( I live about 2 hrs away), to redo paperwork because they had switched banks. I arrive that Friday afternoon to do paperwork and Ii am told the bank decided to decline my loan and they have found me another car. The car had scratches on the bumber and a bullet hole and they wanted $15000.00 for this car. But, if I had not bought the car I would not have had a ride home. I had to put an additional $300.00 down, making a total fof $800.00, and was told this was fine.
Then I receive a call 2 weeks later stating the bank needs a letter concerning my chapter 13 bankruptcy, (which I asked in the very beginning if I needed and was told no), or I would need to return the car. So, I call my lawyer and he told me it would take 30 days, so I call Koons and they said that would take to long and I need to return the car asap. I told them to come and get the car, I was informed if I did not return it I would lose my $800.00. Please be aware of this dealership, they lie and twist what the contract says.....
