Centralia,#2UPDATE EX-employee responds
Fri, July 27, 2012
I am also an ex-employee of Kraftwerk K9 and Wayne Curry.
I can verify that Wayne Curry continues to breed dogs with OBVIOUS and known medical problems (i.e. seizures and hereditary skin conditions) without regard for the b***h or the litters. He also refuses to seek medical care for the dogs, even with multiple outcries from various staff members.
Wayne also encourages his employees to physically abuse the dogs & puppies and calls it training. Somehow I don't think punching a dog in the face, etc is good training; DO YOU?

I cannot comment on conditions as an employee as I just bought a dog there. I went to Kraftwerk to get a good, healthy, well-balanced dog. I told them I wanted a dog I could take to the nursing home I run. Well, I got way more than I bargined for. My Levi is hell on wheels...... He was young when he bit someone (fortunately, it wasn't a bad bite, more of a skin tear). When I called Wayne (the owner) to ask for his help, all he said to me was "if they come to the door, tell them you sent the dog out of state". He refused to help me train him or give me the name of a trainer to help. A couple years later, my dog had a grand mal seizure. I called Wayne again to see if any other dogs in Levi's bloodline had had seizures. He wouldn't return my phone call until I posted something nasty on his website. I finally got through to him and he was of no help just denying anything wrong with his bloodline. I finally had to take my dog to a behavioralist and he is now on prozac and I am having to work very hard with him. He is dominant and aggressive. Now, is this a dog for a nursing home? NO. I tried twice to get him to take him back as the contract says that Kraftwerk has the first right of refusal.....well, they would never return my phone calls. I also met a lady in the dog food store who had gotten a dog from Kraftwerk and as a puppy, it attacked her and went for her neck. Wayne did replace that dog for her. Not too many people would do what I have done for my Levi. I have to confess to thinking about having him put down before I found the behavioralist. Yes, his issues are bred into him. Wayne breeds bad, aggressive dogs that should not be sold as family pets. DO NOT, DO NOT buy a dog from Kraftwerk if you value your life and your possessions. I got no guidance in buying Levi and NO help afterwards when I ran into trouble. What a crappy breeder.
