I ve been a member of Bally's for over 10 years and had automatic withdrawal for all the years. I had a health issue for the last few years, so I didn't use my membership, even though I always did pay. Few weeks ago I realized, that I do not see withdrawal from Bally's, so I decided to call them. 

To my surprise I found out, that Bally's was acquired by La Fitness and my membership is no longer valid.  Nobody could explain me, why the withdrawals were stopped and why I wasn't contacted about this issue. Nor Bally's, nor my bank ever contacted me about issue with withdrawals.

I talked to Neil in membership services, who told me, that he will look into it, try to reinstate membership and will call me in few days. Nobody called me, I called my local gym on El Centro myself and was told, that it will be reinstated in few days and there are notes from Neil in my account.

Few days late still there is no call from anybody and I decided to call La Fitness myself. I called La Fitness Corporate office and had the pleasure of talking to Robert. Robert refused to reinstate my account, lied to me, that they called me and I refused to talk to them, couldn't explain to me, why automatic withdrawals  from my bank account were stopped, just basically told me off. He refused to let me talk to his supervisor and was extremely unprofessional and rude.

I do not understand, when customers being treated this way. It is wrong on so many levels. I ve been with Bally's for over 10 years. La Fitness could of just reinstate my membership, but now the lost a member all together. This company doesn't care about their patrons. They shouldn't be in Healthcare Business at all. Shame on you!

I am living in Streamwood, il and my memebership got revoked by them for the exactly same reason. They have never contacted me and suddenly stopped charging me and told me my membership got revoked. what a shame.
