Langman Contracting substandard work!
In June of 2012 we conracxted graeme Langman ( operating as Langman Contracting) to install 18 windows for us. He was suppose to have the work completed by July 28. Anyway he did not start untiul after he was suppose to be finished. The conntract calls for a deposit of $5000.00 that we paid in June, and the cost of the windows must be paid in full prior to installation. Once we paid for the windows, they packed up all their tolls and stopped coming, windows were not installed, and the work was done horribly, water was draining into the house and all the windows leaked. When Graeme Langman came back he could see mno problem even when we pointed out you could see outside around the bathrppm window. He put in 2 tubes of silicon to hold it in. when we tried to discuss probems with him, he refused to see anything wrong, so we took photos, and complained and he stopped coming again for about 2 weeks, then when he came back he refused to fix anything. We told him to leave. The building inspector discovered that some windows that werw 6 feet tall and 3 feet winde were held in by only 2 screws, something I discovered when I tried to wash one and it almost fell out!
It has cost us almost 10,000.00 to remove, replace and repair his "work"
We decided to file in small claims court and he did not show up so we won,, He did not pay so we got the sheriff to seize money from his bank accounts and now he has lunched an appeal so we go back to the beginning.and it is now October 2013.
I have photos and a bulding inspection that say all the windoows had to be removed or replaced.
Do not hire or trust this guy or this firm!!
