Latest Fashionz Survey Miami Nationwide
8/24/2017 Looked at my bank account and an unknown charge for $99.98 was on it. Now that's a lot for something unusal.
So I called the number on my statement and was told by Tiffany, the company name is Latest Fashionz d/b/a Style Works and for taking the survey with Amazon a black purse sent for $6.98 shipping fee only was charged.
This survey included a 14 day trial period and you needed to contact them to cancel or you would be billed $99.98. Well, I missed that part because the writing had to be invisible.
Tiffany offered a 49% discount after I said I wanted to cancel then a 59% discount then nothing and the charge would stay on my card for cancelling. I did get a cancellation number.
I got the phone number to Latest Fashionz and called but lo and behold the information had already been put into their system and now Shawn is giving my information which reads:
"You did the survey on 7/12/2017 at CVS or Sam Club for the black handbag at $6.98 shipping cost only. The free trial information was located on the shipping page and before you could checkout had to agree to the $99.98 price after the 14 day trial period. On the 15th day you would be charged the $99.98 for the black handbag."
Now it's at least 45 days later and I see this charge, I never let a trial period pass without cancelling because $99.98 and it's not a designer bag is not what I would have wanted.
Shawn stated "there is a no refund policy and I would still be charged the full $99.98." I don't know with whom I took the survey or where the fine print was written due to the different information given. I don't know what kind of company this is that doesn't give even partial refunds over the internet.
Beware of this company(ies).
