LatestDVD9 is probably one of the most creative and diabolical scams I have come across so far. I found this out the hard way when I orderde five DVDs more than a month ago.

The money was debited from my account immediately, but I am still waiting for my goods. I wrote to them after two weeks, but all I got from them was that they posted the DVDs the day before I contacted them. That was pure coincidence, was it?

I had to contact them again yesterday and I have had no response, so I guess I can kiss goodbye to my money, like the others who wrote to Ripoff Report.

It seems that no matter how careful a consumer might be shopping on the internet, the fraudsters are always one jump ahead. It would be better if they could spend their energy doing an honest day's work like most of us, instead of conning people out of their hard earned cash.

Like Carol I've ordered 6 DVDs in February and after 2 emails I received 2 of the 6 in April. The others: out of stock. I replaced them with other titles and again received only one. The rest: out of stock. I asked to be refunded and was told they don't have the facilities to refund! I was actually now on the point of emailing them again, asking an explanation of why these titles are advertised if they are not available, when I discovered this website.There's definitely something fishy here.

After a further two messages to Latest DVD9, three of the five DVDs arrived. Unfortunately, I was in for another shock. First of all the DVDs arrived in a scrappy envolope from Thailand, all three in one box. One was the cartoon version of what I had ordered. The second did not have English available, only Asian Languages and the third was the best, as it was a blank disc! I wrote to the company immediately, asking for a full refund within ten days, or I would take the matter to its furthest limit of investigation. My account was credited within two working days with the full amount. I urge people not to touch this company with a barge pole, as there are lots of legitimate suppliers out there who provide the service they promise, even if they charge a little more for their products.
