I saw an ad on Facebook offering free samples of Clinique and Estee Lauder cosmetic creams only charging shipping charges. When the product arrived it was Lavish Skin and Derma Bright not what was advertised. I tried the product since it only cost $3.95 and $4.95 shipping. The product broke my skin out and I was not able to use it. I didn't give another thought to the whole orderal until I was checking my account and saw charges of $88.28 for Derma Bright and $89.73 for Lavish Skin. I called my bank and found out who had charged my account and found out it was Lavish Skin and Derma Bright. The product was ordered on 10/16/2014 and they made charges to my account on 11/04/2014.  I got the numbers to call from the information provided to the bank. I called them yesterday and demanded a credit be issued to my account and was told that I was required to cancel the product in order to not have charges incurred. I feel I have been ripped off. They refused to credit my account and I informed them that I would report what happened. I also instructed my bank to look into the matter as a fraudulent charge. The phone numbers I called were 1-888-316-9477 and 1-877-410-6850.  To me this is false advertising and fraud. I have learned my lesson. I will never order anything else on line.

The EXACT same thing happened to me - detail for detail - word for word - down to calling the bank and contacting Derma Bright and Lavish Skin - with the same results.... To boot, they say the 14 day "free trial" starts the day you order the product. How can a 14 day free trial on a product start the day you order the product online when you don't even have the product in hand? Expensive lesson learned but definitely a lesson learned.  It's fraud in my opinion.  Never again. I don't even think it's FDA approved.

I know sometimes ordering products online can be frustrating as can ordering from As seen On TV ads, in the late 1990's I worked at a fulfillment house filling orders for several companies. I don't know this company in particular so I cannot attest to their ethics, I do know a bit about how skincare fulfillment typically works. The free trial is just that, you pay shipping, they send you product usually you have 2 weeks to use the product, don't like it ship the empty or half empty bottles, jars back & your account is cancelled you have only paid shipping & handling. When you purchase any consumable on a trial basis especially you have to read ALL the fine print, generally it will say after 14 days or maybe after 30 days depending on the company & the trial size they send out it says they will autonatically ship & bill you for another 3 month supply, or 1 month, etc. again this varies by company, product, and size of product. Most of us do not use products as liberally as companies may think, you can usually customize your shipments to come anywhere from monthly to every six months or any timeframe inbetween that you are comfortable with. Some companies even have a wide variety of products that can be switched into the shipments & you can set it to always be the same or change it up from one shipment to the rest. Essentially you have joined a club, your membership entitles you to a lower price than the one time buyer and you are locked into a lower rate than someone who joins 1, 2, or even 5 years later. If you receive a shipment &. You know when the box arrives you do not want it you should be able to write refused on it, hand it back to the delivery person & it will be sent back at no charge, we had to advise customers of this fairly often as they had not read the fine print & had no idea they were joining a membership auto enrollment.

if the company is just a fly by night sham then go to your bank & get your debit card/Visa number changed, or contact your credit card company & have them issue you a new number. File a fraudulent charge claim with your credit card company at least 9 times out of 10 they will credit your account back. A bank debit card/credit card often takes a longer time to recover your money, if at all possible use a credit card not attached to your bank account especially when purchasing from an unknown company such as an online ordering system or orders by phone. Anymore it is probably best to do as many of your purchases as possible with a credit card or cash with all of the security breaches being experienced with major corporations over the past year especially & with the holidays approaching the possibilities are higher as those who would create these breaches will be looking for the biggest payoffs possible.

Hopefully this his helps anyone looking to make purchases online or by phone, I know how it feels to be taken by those who are being dishonest & how frustrating it can be when I missed a detail of auto enrollment, neither is fun. Good Luck & be careful.
