LB Courier COURIER COMPANY DOES NOT PAY DRIVERS WEEKLY TURNOVER ripoff Thornhill Ontario
LB Courier of Thornill advertised 70% commissions and gas bonus to drivers.
After 7 working days, 310 gas later, I recieved approx $400 which included $22. for gas bonus. Not all calls were paid for, most calls even if over an hour to get to were mostly in the $4 to $5 range per call. After wear and tear and insurance, driver money for their kids groceries, drivers actually wind up paying for the owner's cigars ( Louis Freidman or Freeman not sure which)
Since there is no contract, so one can not even spent the vast time and energies in court to chase him on principle. Since they are not an employee, the labour board can do nothing.
He operates with impunity ripping off drivers he changes weekly when each leave.
He advertises in Employment News weekly.
His biker dispatcher with German Sheppard who works with him closely so many years told me he has already been beaten up a few times and changes drivers all the time.
This is a rip off to the disadvantaged for his gain, shameless and unethical ongoing conduct there simply must be laws for to protect victims.
