Leaders Merchant Services LLC would like to apologize to this merchant for any misunderstandings he may have had with our company. We would also like to apologize if our employees did not return his calls in a timely manner. The policy at LEADERS is that any of our representatives can help our merchants so that they do not have to wait for a particular employee to call them back. Leaders Merchant Services is very confused by this merchant's statements that we did not offer him the rate of 1.18 that he was asking for. The representative Marvin Davis that the merchant refers to went over the rates the merchant currently had in detail on 6/12/08 and explained why the rate plan he was on was a better deal for him than the plan that has the qual rate of 1.18. At that time the merchant agreed to keep the rate plan he was on. We spoke with this merchant again on 6/23/08 and he was offered the rate of 1.18 that he asked for but he advised the rep that was helping him that he would get back with them. We are also confused about his comment that he received an application that he had to mark out the rates and write in the ones that had agreed to with his representative but was still charged the higher rates. This merchants rates are set exactly at the rates on his contract. If this merchant would like to change his rates to the ones offered on 6/23/08 he can contact our Consumer Complaint Resolution Specialist Cindy Schwerdtfeger @ 877-538-3377 EXT. 137 and she will be happy to assist him.
