The name of the company is Leaders merchant services.They are charging my bank account for money that has not been authorized and I would like them to stop.Every time I speak with someone with the company they tell me it was a mistake and if I will fax them a copy of my bank statement they will credit it back but I am not sending them a copy because I feel they will just use the account number to make more charges.

I have went to my bank and disputed the charges but I feel someone with that company has stolen my identity and I would like to know what to do?I am in Aalabama so they know there is not much I can do from here.Thank you,

This merchant has already contacted Leaders Merchant Services via the Better Business Bureau. Here is our response and solution for the merchant: Leaders Merchant Services apologizes for the funds that were debited from the merchant's account, even though his terminal was never installed. All funds have been refunded. Please note that no one in the company stole the merchant's identity. All the monthly fees that were charged for the first month were valid fees according to the contract the merchant signed. These fees have also been refunded, as LEADERS recognized the inability to reprogram the merchant's terminal. LEADERS follows honest business practices, but not without error, as no one is perfect. Thus we did refund the fees after realizing where our mistake was. LEADERS also apologizes for charging this merchant a $350.00 cancellation fee. This was a human oversight; as the merchant should not have been charged anything due to the non-installation of the merchant account. The $350.00 cancellation fee has also been refunded to the merchant.
