LEADERS Merchant Services would like to apologize to this merchant for his experience with our company. We at LEADERS Merchant Services take pride in providing all merchants with superior customer services and to hear a complaint such as this is truly disheartening. LEADERS has reviewed this merchant's account and would like to point out that the fax cover sheet sent with all applications clearly states, We recommend that you carefully review all of the materials we provide to you to ensure your understanding of our fees, terms and conditions. It is clear from this merchant's complaint that he did not review his contract as LEADERS had strongly recommended. The Leaders Merchant Processing Agreement does, in fact, state the length of term for each contract in the second paragraph of the Personal Guaranty (page 3 of 4). The merchant did not indicate to LEADERS that there were any errors on his application prior to signing it and sending it back for approval. LEADERS processed this application as described. Per this merchant's contract, LEADERS may change the rates and fees with a 30 day written notice. This merchant was notified of these augmented fees on his February 2008 merchant processing statement. LEADERS refunded the $250.00 Early Termination fee on 7/1/09 and has closed this merchant's account per his request. Once again, LEADERS would like to take this time to apologize to the merchant for his experience with our company and we would like to wish him well in all future endeavors.
