I have a small business, I received this sales representant, which he gave me a "better" rate, so I would safe money, However I did have to have their Terminal machine , which in a way he said that The terminal was going to belong to the company...
I was supposed to have 1 month trial to see if we like the company service and If NOT SATISFIED to return it.
the next 2 days, the machine came in, I did have then the time to read the paperwork he left me , and I realized all the lies , I didn't like the part that I have to be part of the lease for 5 years paying $79 for a machine that costs $ 300 in the market. and THAT IS A NON CANCELLABLE LEASE !!!
I haven't even take the machine out of the box, and I called them SAME DAY saying , NO thank you !!, I don't want to get into this contract and I will return your terminal/machine . I don't want to get even the trial... But they started to be nasty , telling me that If ANYBODY FROM THE OFFICE , has received the machine and sign that they received it (the receptionist did ), by law it acepted the contract !!! that there is no TRIAl, that I am in a legal contract and If NOT they will be after me PERSONALLY. ..I tried and tried ..for 2 months to return the terminal without using it, getting charged of course . because I did want to keep my credit and not to be penalised..BUT with no success!
Almost 48 months has passed so far, and TODAYS ECONOMY , I am going through difficult moments... I called them ,MANY TIMES... trying to negotiate if I can negotiate the terms with them ...THEY ARE SO NASTY... the best answer that I got was..pay us $ 2,250 to finish the lease in ADVANCE, if you want to keep the terminal $ $ 2, 700 (advance)
I told them If they were CRAZY !, there was NO releif at all, actually was worst... they WERE DOING ANYTHING FOR ME ... never want me to help me with NO supervisor, they send me to voice mails , which never my call gets return...
I will ask them to fax me my contract to see if they have it....
Can somebody HELP me ? We have to stick together !!

Contact Attorney General of Illinois if this is the LFG out of Chicago or the Attorney General of that state

I had a small business that was destroyed by fire. I truley believe that the LFG contract is fraudulent. I contacted the Attorney General of Illinois because that is the LFG that kept contacting me. I have recieved a letter from the Attorney's Office but nothing from LFG. I want them to stop the business and use of copying contracts and incorporating them with a NON Cancellable part that I never saw. Therefore I did not send them any money. Since the Attorney General's office got involved I have had no contact with LFG. They use to call me everyday and with threats of suing me in the State of New York. I say sue cause I want to be in court with them. But again I contacted the Attorney General of Illinois and suggest you do the same. If it is LFG from Chicago then that state, or where you are having problems let them know your problem you can do it online just like me. Good Luck Jane Lundlander bar and grill which was destroyed by fire and LFG would not cancell and told me I was responsible for payments the next four years even though I have no business or equipment. Again best of luck this company needs to stop this type of business.!
