I resigned LegalMatch.com due to the fact I had witnessed on more than one occasion inappropriate and unprofessional conduct by Neal Carmichael, Vice President of Sales and Membership. This conduct includes, in my opinion, sexual harassment as defined by LegalMatches own website http://www.legalmatch.com/law-library/article/types-of-sexual-harassment.html and both State and Federal law. One instance, and there are many, a young attractive divorced lady with two very small children had to leave LegalMatch employment due to Mr. Carmichael's involvement with her.
Additionally, Mr. Carmichael periodically invites personnel to his private home and encourages them to consume alcohol etc. Member's of the Austin branch have witnessed YOUNG ATTRACTIVE FEMALES receive select treatment ie special parking, leads, closings, promotions, off site "meeting", and open praise, while other hard working, older, less attractive women get none.
Additionally, on several occassions, when picking up my paycheck, hundreds of dollars would be missing. When questioned my manager Michael McCleary and our payroll person Kurt Jerdon they would just say "that's the way it is". I felt as thought they were just part of the scam to rip-off employees and not offer ANY documentation.
In my opinion, Mr. Carmichael is a PREDITOR AND ALCOHOLIC in denial and this has had a negative effect in the work place environment.
LegalMatch leadership at the corporate level is either unaware of the serious environment which Mr. Carmichael has created or is simply ignoring it and the legal impact such behavior is sure to bring. I am confident if an individual and confidential investigation by the corporate office of current and past employees were to be conducted, the above information would be confirmed and additional instance and events uncovered. I am happy to assist.
Regarding the personnel at LegalMatch, I have witnessed them hiring persons on parole, drug crazed, homeless and even CONVICTED FELONS!!! GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD? On one occassion, a drug crazed employee brought his handgun into the office. The swat team had to be called and the building evacuated until he was subdued and taken to jail !!!!!!!!!
Lastly, the owner Dmitry Shubov turned out to be a CONVICTED FELON, Dmitri Shubov, 31, He was charged with three counts of unlawful access to store communications and one count of making false statements, according to Assistant U.S. Attorney Andrew Stolper and faced up to 20 years in prison!

Since my original report it appears legalmatch is further decling. Increased negative internet posting, mass key personal losses, and their failure to investigate Austin head Neal Carmichael, had excellerated internal and external decay.
The most recent desertion of long time Manager Greg Clark who himself in my opinion was as corrupt and unethical as Neal Carmichael, has resigned without notice and left the company.
legalmatch office has been on a steady decline for several years. It has gone from at times of 50 people to less than 20.
It is my experienced opinion leagalmatch will soon closse its doors in Austin. Time will tell. If I were a hiring manger and either Neal Carmichael or Greg Clark put their resume across my desk I would severely reseaerch the claims if these and other articles so that you and your company would not fall victim of the same practices and severly flawed reputations.
