This pie-in-the-sky company is in obvious violation of the Advanced Fee Talent Act. Maybe our illustrious government(s) will catch up with them? Of course, there are much bigger fish to fry, particularly in the Youngstown-Warren, Ohio area.
Hey Tad, you're right on target... it's like being stuck in a permanent tornado. Linda and her revolving-door employees won't stop calling, no matter how many times they're told. Seeing their number on caller ID only brings back bad memories of the few small-time bozo jobs I had because of them. (And of the tiny check with Linda's signature that bounced---thanks a million, less 999,952 to be exact.)
I am, however, grateful for some of the humorous moments. The pictures behind Linda's desk... of actors who have never set foot in this Garden of Eden known as Y-Town, Murder Town, Yunztucky, Gulag USA, etc. Of sitting in a parking lot waiting for one of her D-bag "clients" to show up (4 hours+ late), and writing nonsense like "I don't effing care. Send a flare way up in the f---ing air if you think I care. 'Do not care' is my nom de guerre."
Oh well, live and learn, and live and learn some more, and feel like you're on the set of "Groundhog Day" with Linda Weaver. What goes around, goes around and around and around...
Gee, maybe our big acting break is coming soon? Maybe Linda will call about a local putt putt shoot that's paying $22 for 2 hours of work, and six hours of waiting and picking our butts and noses.
