Lending Tree - Home Loan Center ripoff Refused to Refund Money Charlotte North Carolina
Lending Tree promised us a great deal on a refinance. They asked for a $600.00 down payment which would be included in the loan. They guaranteed to refund this if the loan was not closed. They sent an appraiser out to do an appraisal. It came in $40,000 higher than what they anticipated. Lending Tree claimed they had picked a bad appraiser. I have never heard of someone complaining that the house is worth more than expected!!! We told them to stop the process because they were running us in circles. Carolina Nunez repeatedly told us, plus e-mailed us saying she had put in a request for a refund. Two months later, no refund and they refuse to contact us. If we can find the proper information and an attorney willing to take the case, we plan to sue. They can't keep getting away with this!
