First optometrist gave me a perscription for new glasses. I told him before the exam that I had Cataract surgery 1 1/2 year. Having headaches. Got new glasses, was told to wear them a few days. Went back couldn't see right. so they ajusted them. Again wore them 2 days.Went back and asked them to check right lens. After 1/2 hour was told lens had a prism. They would redo my glasses and I would have them in days.Took 5.

Again told to wear them a few days, they are giving me headaches. So I go back again, they ajusted them. Could see to read small print.Left with new glasses and now can read road signs. Had to get within 7 feet to read stop sign even.

Called Lens Crafters, was told to come back for another eye exam. Went back , different optmetrist. After the exam she said, " I honestly can't give you a perscription, you wouldn't be able to see any clearer. Told me I should go back to my specialist.

Ask for refund, was given a refund of $137.50, I had paid $305.00 with my credit card. I said this isn't right. She said, " you have to pay $88.00 for exam. I said that still isn't right. What kills me on the back of the refund slip iin big letters If you do not love your new glasses, return them for full refund.

Went back to my specialist and YAG LASER surgery on both eyes and can see near and far. I think I was taken.

Their refund policy states that if you don't like the glasses they will refund "them". That is EXACTLY what they did. They refunded the glasses for the full price that you paid for the glasses, the eye exam is a service and separate. Would you have expected them to return the $88 if they said you didn't need glasses at all? Now, the one thing that does not make sense is what exactly you were being charged for. If the glasses were $137.50 and the eye exam was $88 that is only $225.50 and another $88(if they had you pay for the second exam) makes it over the $305.50 your credit card was charged.
