I was dumb enough to pay Leo Wieck/Solscape LLC 75% up front to build a pool. Payment was over $27,000. It was supposed to take about 6 weeks. It has now been over five months and all I have is a hole in the yard and Leo has disappeared with my money. He does not respond to calls or texts.
The only work completed was done poorly and incorrectly. Permits were never obtained despite Leo telling me otherwise. The hole that was dug is shallower than in the contract. The plumbing lines are too small (1.5" feed, needs to be 2"), the pipes aren't buried deep enough, and many of them rub against the rebar and need to be replaced. The skimmer attachment lines are too deep. The plumbing for the deck jets is uneven, and some pipes were never even connected to anything. The light fixtures were installed incorrectly (flush with rebar, instead of 3" out to clear the shotcrete).
Basically I have paid for 3/4 of a pool and now I'm having to start from scratch with a new company. Stay far away from this man and this company. He is able to come in 25% cheaper with his quotes for a reason. He will take your money with no intention of doing the work.
