Dr Hansen is a very poor listener. He is rushed, and he addresses his patients in a very belittling way. He wants to set up some boutique practice where he wanted me to pay him a retainer (which I did) and then he was not available and would not return my calls during the one time I had a question about chest pains. He makes poor eye contact and seems puzzled by common symptoms. I really don’t have much good to say and I generally have positive relationships with my doctors (I have written only good reviews so far). Please avoid him. Maybe he has a problem with greed, I don’t know, but he does not care for his patients. Also, he hired a company to improve his online ratings, I overheard his office manager talking about it. Dr. Hansen wanted me to pay him extra money in order for him to be a resonable care giver. I feel ripped off.

The first report is very true. Hansen will not see you unless you pay over 1500.00 a year down payment & he still charges your insurance per EACH visit. He requires you to see him once a week whether your feeling ok or not & if you tell him no he cancels you as a patient and keeps your down payment. I have Very good doctors through my insurance that only require a 20 $ copay to see them and that's it. Dr.Hansen has caught on that there are not so bright wealthy people in Summerlin willing to pay extra for "special treatment", which really is nothing more than what a great doctor should do at regular insurance rates, not charge an annual down payment. People need to wake up to this greed and speak up against it, otherwise other doctors will catch on, do the same thing and it will be way to expensive for general medical care anywhere.. Wake up people!! Quit letting these doctors call the shots! We, as a society, pay their bills. We need to speak up against this..

It's a terrible thing someone could write such untruths about such a wonderful caring doctor. Dr Hansen has been our doctor for over 17 years. He has been with us for every medical decision. The time he spends and caring he shows is above and beyond any doctor we have had. The cost of seeing him is far below any other doctor in the valley, without the personalized service. Everyone on his staff is wonderful, they know every single patient by name. If you think he is doing his job out of greed, think again. He is the best!!!!!!!! Jerry and Debbie Chianelli
