Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson LLP Bogus Collection Agency masquerading as a law firm with no valid contact information for any attorney denver, Colorado
A collection agency representing itself to be a law firm with business offices in Colorado. All phone numbers lead to a collection agency. Attempted to collect an overdue library fine that was PAID nearly a year before and never did anything to verify debt before sending out threatening collection letters. Does not provide the name or contact of any attorney in the state which the letterhead indicates the firm is practicing. Was told their system was down when I reached a live person (who verified she was not an attorney) and that an agent (who was not an attorney) whose last name could not be given to me for security purposes would call back. This business should not represent that it is coming from a law firm when you cannot contact the law firm directly or when no licensed attorney from that state is affiliated with the agency and there is no actual law firm presence. They should be shut down.
