Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I found out about LinShe Management in the New York Post and called to set up an interview. The ad said they were looking for "Customer Service Reps."

I spoke to a gentle man named Mr.Turner and he asked me to come in for an interview; so I did.

I had an extensive interview with him and he told me that he would run my resume through personnel and see what they said, so that I should call in a couple of hours to see if I made it through to the "second half of the interview." I did and I made it through.

Anyway, I went a couple of days later and attended a "second interview" with a bunch of other candidates. At the end of the session, we were told that only a handful of us were picked to actually get hired for the job. I was one of the so called fortunate ones that was to report the following Monday for our first day of training.

During our first couple of days of training, we were challenged to a "contest" to see who could sell some fragrances to any friends, family, or relatives. If you sold a certain amount you would get cash bonuses and mentioned at the next ceremony. Mind you that we were told we would not be asked to sell anything at anytime but this was "just a contest."

The next couple of days passed and we were given a "sales pitch" to study as one of our assignments along with other company information like rules, company contracts, price breakdowns on their fragrance, etc...

This is when I started to get suspicious and asked myself as well as a couple of other classmates a question. "Why do we need a sales pitch if we were not required to sell anything and are training to become managers?"

The next day in class when we did ask, the answer was that it was part of company policy to learn this and that we had to learn it . Oookay...

Friday morning and we are in class. We go over some material and have a couple of "motivational moments" that are basically pep rallies and sound like cheerleader songs.

Afterwards we are broken up into grouops and are told that we are going to go out into the field with some trainers, assistant managers, and managers to try out our sales pitch. Now I really am starting to feel as if I wasted my time and am being set up for the big let down. But being the optimist I tell myself that maybe they just want to see how we deal with the public and if we ahve what it takes to manage not only 15 to 20 employees but also deal with different personalities from the street.

Anyway, I go along for the ride to see what happens and also because I really need the job. After all, it pays $30,000 a year to start, with full benefits.

This is when the spit hit the fan if you know what I mean. As I was talking to a potential "buyer on Fordham Road in the Bronx, one of the "managers tell me to hide the bottle of perfume. I ask her why and she tells me that we can't let the police see us seeling the fragrance in the street. This is when I really know that I've been had. Youo are not supposed to sell any product in the street unless you have a vendors license and here I am advertising a product in broad day light taking a chance of going to jail for a company that did not even inform me of this but is also not even paying me and they are pocketing the proceeds.

When I approached the "staff" about this the next day they shrugged it off and told me not to even worry about it. Well I told them to shove it. I did not agree to be selling anything outside in the street for anybody, especially without the proper authorization. I was sold a dream so good that I resigned from my then present job just to be able to partake in the training to become a "manager."

So I want to let it be known to anybody and every body out there that "LinShe Management aka Scenturia Creations" are FRAUDS! They sell people dreams. All they want is for you to sell their fragrance so they can get rich. They throw you a nice spiel about how they are going to make you successful. They don't tell you the truth about what you will be doing and they don't even want you talking to each other after class because they are afraid of you putting the pieces together.

It is illegal in the State of New York to sell products in the street without the proper license to do so. This they do not tell you even though I am pretty sure that they know.

So to all of you out there- remember there name and don't fall into their trap. They deserve to be put out of business and lose their business license. I am reporting them to the Department of Labor and I also wrote to CBS News about it. LinShe MAnagement aka Scenturia Creations are Scam Artists...
