Liquidation.com ripped me off!!! Washington District of Columbia
I purchased a lot of 39 binoculars on an auction on liquidation.com. for resale on ebay. When I received the binoculars, NINE of the 39 were grossly broken and not in saleable condition. Curiously, these nine were the most valuable models in the entire lot. This made the saleable lot not even worth enough to make my money back, much less any profit. Liquidation.com would not honor my claim to return the broken merchandise for refund.
There were several similar lots of binoculars for auction at the same time, with similar items included. All of them had about 25% of the items making up the lion's share of the value of the lot. I am curious if other people received their merchandise with the most valuable items in the lot broken. I believe that this would be a way to sell "salvage" quality merchandise as "return quality" merchandise and make more money ripping people off.
