Loan Point USA Geneva Roth Attempting to collect on a unsubstainated debt from 7 years or more ago supposedly..... Unknown Internet
I just contacted on my cell phone about a supposed debt that I owe for a payday loan from 7 years ago!!!!
I've gotten divorced, moved out of state, and gotten remarried again in that time frame and now they are just suddenly contacting me? The best part is that they claim they have my information on an application listing my current husband as a reference. I didn't even know my husband 7 years ago so that is not possible.
The best part is that they are contacting me threatening jail time if I don't comply and pay. I refuse to pay them a cent. I asked for the contact name for the company and they decline stating that I don't need the phone number or address for where the loan was originated that I must deal with them and take care of the matter immediately. I told them that I would not comply and that they needed to send me paperwork. She said she would do so but I highly doubt I will see a thing.
They are using scare tactics to try and defraud people of their funds. Do not give them any bank accout information! In the event that they come through with serving me papers. I will certainly respond, however the claim my case is being sent to Montana and when you look at the records for Montana they lost a class action lawsuit in that state in 2014 for this kind of scam. At this point I dare them to move forward with anything.
