Lobel Financial ripoff & bad customer service & harassing customers and non customers Anaheim California
I had bought my car back in January of this year. My first payment was due in February. I havnt had any problems making my payment till last month. Which was July, I had a family emergency and had to leave out of state for a month. I was not able to make my payment. Now Im back at work and Ive told Lobel that I will be able to pay them just as soon as I get my next check. Ill be able to pay what I owe for last month and this month.
They have been calling and calling. Not only do they call me, they call my job, my boss. Which my boss has already told me that she is fed up with them calling so much. And I can end up losing my job. Because of them calling and asking her so much information. And you know what Lobel told me. They told me well I guess youll lose your job and your car. Can you believe that? Im so stressed and tired of this company. They also have a way to change numbers around so it looks like someone is calling you from your job or house. When really it's them calling. This should not be legal.
Anyone who has bad credit or no credit I suggest not going through Lobel Financial. They rip you off and add so many fees. That by the time you do pay what you owe, you still are oweing more because they tack on so many late fees.

My name is rose and i have an auto loan with Lobel financial, i live and work in rochester ny, i am having the same problem with lobel, the service is awful they will call you every hour on the hour, 2 or more times daily, my atuo loan is paid off as of 10/01/07, now lobel is telling me i owe them late fees which i will never pay off i have tried to contact them to make payments lower than my car payments i was refused, i was told that i signed a contract stating my late fees are in the same amount of my car payment, i have been paying for this car going on the 4th year, the phone calls never stop, they are rude, and they tell you they will take your car, which has happen to me they kept telling me i never made a payment when i had my a copy of my money order, .. which was sent to them on time i woke up one morning and my car was gone, they also have tack the towing on to the end of the contract which is part of the late fees the tow was $600.00 lobel is making me pay for that tow, which was lobels fault because my payment was there!! i am so sick of this company i am at a lost and don't know what to do! i can no longer afford this monthly bill of 315.00 a month.. they are constantly threating to repo your car regardless what is going on in your life.. this company is BAD news so please be aware of them.. just want this to be over and done with so if anyone out there who can or could HELP.. please do people are being victimzed by this ruthless company. sincerely Rose

what lobel does to its customers and their employees is wrong. and the program they use is called a blindline and can be used to create any phone number to appear on your caller i.d. also options are given to the collector to use such as packages express, human resources and insurance services. and usually a message can be left using an alias and a 1-800 number and an extension in hopes you call that number because no matter where your calling from or if your number is restricted your number will show up on the caller i.d. dont ask me how its done because i dont know but collectors call this a trap line. and if any body answers then that collector is free to say whatever he wants without consequence. and i do mean say anything. example " my name is joe smith and im conducting an investigation in regards to a stolen car...also lobel finacial will place a loan out for reposession at 35 days past due...i hope this helps
