The sales person told me that a used 2005 kawasaki ninja would be 2,400 out the door. Which means including sales tax, registration fee, inspection fee, and title fee. I signed the paperwork where he asked me to in order to close the deal.

Weeks later I get the bill in the mail for more than double the price we agreed to. I return back to Long Island Cycle and Marine, and ask them why they charged me for an extended warranty that I explicitly said that I didn't want, forge my signature, and then subsequently add the bill up erroneously in their favor.

The sales person, Eli Land, who was a very nice person, but I found out was fired because he tried to protest against their corrupt practices. The so called Sales Manager John Corpac (who really runs this scam) is the one responsible. But there is a whole team of people he works with. Joe Sciuti (another manager), Vito (manager), Freddy (finance manager), Matt (credit department), and Neil (sales).

When I called up and spoke to the secretary I explained my situation and they told to hold on, then I was disconnected. Then when I called back they told me John was in a meeting and could not take my call. They told me someone would call me back. No one ever did. I thought it might be a problem with the secretary so I decided to go down there in person. To my surprise there were two other people waiting to speak to John over the same problem (fraudulant charges). They also had some kind of motorcycle gang that came there (I guess for security in case any of the other customers got really angry).

I explained to the sales manager that I really didn't want to take him to small claims court, and that we should settle this directly. He said he would take back my bike if I decided to buy any new 2007 motorcycle.

I was interested in the 2007 Honda CBR 600cc. I already had a 5,000 finance line opened by them under Funancing or GE money Bank (the parent company).

Plus I had an 8,000 dollar check from Capital One that I was willing to use. Plus I had a thousand dollars cash. They said that this was not enough. They had to open a new credit line under Honda since I was interested in the Honda.

Honda gave me another 9,000 dollars. John Corpac then said that I could put the motorcycle under two credit lines because they have to show that the person is buying something (like an alarm or a remote starter or an electronic dampener). These are things I did not want or need but they said it was necessary for the credit company to accept the charge. The total bill came out to over 16,000 for a 2007 Honda CBR 600cc.

I quickly used my cell phone to go to Hondas page while I was in the room. John and Freddy were still discussing how to take all my money by charging $1000 dollars for labor for the alarm I did not want, and another $1000 dollars in labor for the remote starter I did not want. I found out through Hondas website that the bikes retail value is around ten thousand. I quickly began thinking how to get out of this situation.

I was already scammed once by these people and I come to them for restitution and now there trying to scam me for even more money? He also wanted me to trade in the Kawasaki Ninja that I had just bought two weeks prior, back to him for $2,000 dollars less. I was able to get out of the entire situation by telling them I didn't have the title yet for the bike (I felt extremely intimidated by these people) that were openly explaining to me how they planned on cheating me of my money.

I am 25 years old, and this is my first time dealing with a dealership of any kind. I was extremely frustrated when on the way back white smoke started to come out of the tail pipe (they had took the bike with them into the back room service area where they "inspected it" to make sure it was ok to buy back). I pulled over to the side of the road and called them back. I told the service department the problem and he told me he was too busy, and for me to bring it to them tomorrow. I didn't even think it was possible to make it back to my house safely but I did.

I believe that they tried to sabotage my bike so that I would have to leave it with them, which would make it easier to buy a new nike form them. I am disgusted with there whole operation and after discussing the situation with some friends in high places they urged me to take Long Island Cycle and Marine (formerly Long Island Honda of Bayshore under the BBB, which I also filed) to small claims court and that I had their support. I do not like courts of law and tried everything possible to settle this directly with them. I tried calling them back at least 3 more times and they still avoided me. I am planning to file in Lindenhurst to take them to small claims court.

I have so much evidence against them it is ridiculous. I even recorded the telephone conversations with them, I have a copy of the ( intentionally miscalculated in their favor ) sales receipt. I have other bills for service to the bike in order to fix it so that it would be safe to use. John Corpac if you read this, and I hope you read it over and over again, I advise you not even to show up in small claims court out of complete shame. This way I can just receive the default judgement.

Is your website now offline, so that I can not gather more evidence against you? Any lawyers reading this are also free to contact me.

Freddy's last name is Fred Rollo, and along with John Corpac they are part owners. Even though they pretend to be just managers, and that the owner's name is Tom. They are the real owners and when you complain to them, they say that they will talk to the owner about it and get back to you later. They are the owners! What kind of unorganized criminal operation do they run? A class action law suit is in the works it appears from the other 55 complaints filed against them in the last year, giving them the lowest rating possible for a company to ever achieve. If I do recieve any personal threats they will be recorded and added as evidence in this law suit. Forging signatures is a felony. Having a policy of making customers sign blank documents so that they can illegally raise the price is bad business. Its simple cause and effect. Instead of avoiding your customers that have legitimate complaints why don't you face your problems and handle them directly. By doing so you would avoid the inevitable class action law suit against Long Island Cycle and Marine. I have just personally collected all of the complaints and grievances posted on the internet about this company and put them into a backup database. With over 55 complaints filed, what about all the times this happened without a person filing a report? I will not be intimidated. This will be exposed in the media. You should have listened to the other complaints and took them seriously.
