Update*** I had sent a Final Notice Dedt validation letter and only recieved consumers name and address. If you look up the rules on this that is all they have to provide. I then recieved discovery, admissions & interrogatories from LBN , I had done alot of research on how to answer these in the meanwhile sent LBN a list of my own Admissions , I recieved a reply within 3 days couldnt believe it. Although they deny most of my questions they did attach a copy of the contract along with all info from original debt. In my research I did not think they would have this info, I played hardball answered everything on time etc etc.. Someone wrote a reply that I was wrong for sending a copy of letter to the court. That is NOT true you have to answer to everything LBN sends you or they will file defult you have to answer to the summons with a plea. (if i didnt send one to court lbn would say i didnt answer within 30day given and judge would grant in lbn favor) you can go to oscn dockets put in 1915-1990 for attorney # and see how many cases they win by people not responding it will make you sick! and they waste no time in garnishing peoples pay checks. Not believe everything you read about LBN yes they are scum , low life, but they know what it takes to win they do this all day long. I dont feel like a owe any money but if the contract says I have to pay everything else really doesnt matter. I signed this in 2000 thats 8yrs ago for a car I leased I paid 4yrs on this car never late. Returned the car. I am being suied for going over the miles. The sol on this wouldnt start until 2004 becouse they wouldnt know if I was over or under miles until I turned car in. (called a lawyer) I think its B.S. I've paid over 29,000 on this car already and the car was not even worth that new. (oh yeah and I dont even have the car they got it back) wtf . None of that really matters to a judge they have proof of everything which was really shocking to me from research Ive dont on these Debt buyers. The only thing for me to do is try to settle, they know where I work first contact was at my job. I send a letter over a week ago and havent heard anything back yet , will update when I do.

If you don't want to end up with a judgment for $2,800.00 against you, I suggest you get a lawyer. There is a lawsuit pending now. Demands for verification/validation will do you NO good. In fact, you already kind of screwed yourself by sending one to the court. Unless you are prepared to do some HARD studying on civil procedure, or to pay up $2,800.00, I again suggest getting an attorney.

I send love, beal & nixon a letter asking for debt validation. I also sent the same letter to the county clerk. They sent me a letter back with company name , p.o. box address and an account number they made up. I then sent another letter stating Final Demand for proof bearing my signature to LBN. Then I went downtown to file an extention on my summons (waiting for proof before I answered to the summons) and to my surprise was told I already answered. The letter I sent to the court to keep on file that I had asked LBN for debt validation had gotton filed as my answer. I was told I couldnt get a extention since I had already answered and the ball is in LBN now for the next step. They have since sent me a letter asking if I would settle. Everytime I recieve a letter the account balance is different. Guess it's time to wait to see what happens , I am not going to settle.
