I placed my order on 9 March 2012, for a Luminese Air Brush Cosmetics System after watching the infomercial on t.v. late that evening. They proclaimed Flawless and Perfect Blending and recognized by New Beauty and Vogue Magazine, Good Morning America and The Doctor's t.v. show. They bragged about it being used by Award Winning and Academy Award make-up artists. The infomercial said there was a 30 day trial offer for $29.95 with free shipping and "Loads of Fun Make-up and "If not completely satisfied simply return it, with NO questions asked". They repeated this same proclamation during the phone call while I placed my order as well. I received my package on 20 March 2012. I was not completely satisfied and when I phoned in on 28 March 2012 to request a RA# to return my package I was asked why was I returning it then I was told I would need to pay $49.95 for the 30 day trial offer and I would have to pay for the return shipping too. The repeated phrase "just simply return it, no questions asked" gave the false impression that one could return it at no cost to the consumer. Not so. Luminesse said there would be "Loads of Fun Make-up" none of that was true. What you were suppose to get with the starter kit was  4/.25 oz of ultra medium foundation, primer, blush, bronzer, glow plus 2 free eye shadows. Luminess stated you would receive four shades of foundation to select your "perfect shade" only two shades of foundation were sent. When I told the customer service rep that I did not received 4 only 2 bottles she informed me that their most popular medium shades were 3 and 4 and that's why they sent the slightly larger bottle. Neither one of those shades were my "perfect match". Also, inside the package was the packing list and on the complete reverse side of this sheet was this sleu of small print instructions charging the consumer for restocking fees, this, that or the other. Then I was told I had until 11 April 2012 to return my package but the telephone instructions state I had  30 days from time of delivery. The date of 11 April is way less than the 30 days so fervently advertise. My item was shipped using "business days". From the date I received my order to the date I called to return this item only seven days have passed. They've given me until 11 April to return it. This is only nine business days for a combined total of sixteen business days. To add insult to injury, I was told to read the back of the packing slip, the 30 days begin the day "after" you placed your order never mind that I hadn't received it until 7 business days later 11 days total including Sat & Sun. This company fails to give clear and full disclosure at the time of purchase. The entire presentation is very misleading and dishonest. This is clearly a scam and complete misrepresentation.
