I find it unbelievable how this company thinks they are going to get away with this. I have dealt with scammers in the past and have friends and family who have lost thousands$$ in the Nigerian Bank scam but this is rediculous!

Same story as everyone else on Ripoff Report. Signed up for a "free" Luminous Brites sample for $4.99 and cancelled within the allotted time. They still sent the almost $90 package a few wks later then charged my BANK account (i know, stupid me) the $88.97.

Calling the 866 number doesn't help and sending many many emails has done nothing. At first they emailed back and said if I had read the terms and conditions I could've cancelled in time. They insisted that there are thousands of users who cancelled on time and "enjoy" their product. YOU have got to be kidding me! This company steals money, scams people and thinks they're getting away with it?!

I truly hope that filing this Ripoff Report is actually going to accomplish something aside from making me feel like I'm not the only one having gone through this. PLEASE Ripoff Report.com forward these to the CA BBB and help us stop the company, shut it down! The website is still up and I hate them!!

You CAN report them to the Postal Authorities IF they sent their product through the US Post Office. You CAN report them to your State Attorney General's Fraud division. The only way you would be able to STOP them is to make a PERSONAL VISIT TO THEM IN PERSON TO DEMAND THAT THEY GIVE YOU YOUR MONEY BACK. And while you are there, you could file a complaint at the police department there and show them the paperwork and tell them what the company did to you and WHY. JUST BECAUSE A COMPANY IS LISTED ON THE COMPUTER DOES NOT MEAN THAT THEY ARE HONEST, HONORABLE AND NOT A RIP-OFF! They can, will and have DELETED your e-mails. THAT won't stop them. They can, will and have TRASHED your letters in that circular file called a TRASH CAN. Folks in my family like to say that the Crook lit his big $100 cigar with your letter because he does not hold it ( or ANY of the victims of his con games_ in very high regard. Which is WHY he does the things he does. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A FREE LUNCH. IF SOMETHING LOOKS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE,IT PROBABLY IS. GREED,ARROGANCE AND GULLIBILITY WILL COST YOU MONEY IN THE LONG RUN! If you don't want to take a trip out to California --and don't be surprised if this address turns out to be a mail drop where the crook rents ONLY a mailing address and is not pysically present...with only minimal involvement of the U.S. postal inspectors and subject to FEDERAL PROSECUTION for committing frauds. I think I forgot to mention that if YOU FIND SOMETHING ON THE INTERNET THAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE A FREE SAMPLE AND THEY CHARGE YOU ANYTHING AT ALL -- IT IS NOT REALLY FREE. They are trying to get people to give them their credit card information or paypal account ONLINE so they will be able to raid it in the future. Especially if they have just asked you your name, date of birth, address and telephone number in order to get you to "qualify" for this so-called FREE SAMPLE! NOW THEY CAN USE YOUR CREDIT INFORMATION TO ESTABLISH THEIR OWN LINE OF CREDIT,TO ORDER THINGS FOR THEMSELVES AND YOU GET STUCK WITH THE BILL! DO NOT EVER PUT YOUR FINANCIAL BUSINESS, YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION LIKE YOUR REAL NAME,DATE OF BIRTH,DRIVERS LICENSE NUMBER,SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER, HOME ADDRESS ( Use a post office box instead, if you must_ OR PHONE NUMBER ( use a defunct number)BUT KEEP YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION OFF OF THE INTERNET. AND BE CAREFUL ANSWERING E-MAILS TOO, THERE ARE SOME COMPUTER EXPERTS WHO CAN TRACK YOU DOWN USING YOUR INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER! Please be more careful in the future. I hope that you contested the charges with your credit card company. And that you and no one in your family will fall for ANY MORE of these computer SCAMS again. AS the economy gets worse, there are going to be thousands of them. and a whole lot of NEW ones.
