Lawyer rip-off--requested money upfront--didn't do any work had me supply everything-pictures, surveys, signatures, at court ask couple questions to defendant-going wrongway with questions per the panel-- he gave up.
Had me do all the talking-never asked me any questions or supply the very important information to the case to the panel review board--could tell he was out of his element--requested the money owed me back and I was denied -- plus he had the nerve to bill me for more money.
Stated if we had to go to court again he would need more money $1000-1500 to prepare the case. I told him this should have already been done--I feel like a sugar client I paid for his lunches and dinners out for the next Month.

Michael & Timonthy no-one wants to make him move it

Timonthy the fence was put up in 03 although we kept telling him it was on our property he didn't care. we then spent 850.00 to get a survey- thinking that-that was enough we went to the first hearing at the zoning office in Oct.- although he didn't get a permit they made him pay for one. and let him keep the fence-they can rule 3 ways-make you take down the fence-put the fence up to regulations or keep the fence under certain conditions-like get it off our property. he got to keep the fence- Although he knew we had the survey the comm. stated he doesn't deal with that issue and stated since we are neighbors we should try and work it out- the comm. could have made him move it. I get the feeling since the fence is already up no-one wants to make him move it. I then spent another 300 in appeals and 1,000 for a lawyer. all for a fence- all this takes time as you can see we are now in 05 I'm scared to death to hire another lawyer and yes I did fire Mr. Politzer right after the hearing. All the lawyers want 1000-1500 up front. after I've been burned how do I know I'll get what I've paid for. and isn't that alot of money to get a fence off of someones property. Micheal- in one of your e-mails you stated I could go to Marylands website-which site is that? that gives me alot of information. also about the Ins. I got that info from my lawyer at the time who got if from their lawyer, so I guess it's not ins. fraud unless they were just trying to intimadate me. anyway I'll keep you posted as I find out what to do. I might wait until I get the zoning laws and then not only make him get the fence off our property but put it where it should go. in refence to the property line. Hopefully I find out soon I'll let you know if anything changes-if you don't hear anything from me it's because I don't know anything yet. it's funny i only used the computer once in a while and I never have communicated with anyone on line- I got the rip-off site going to file a greviance about our lawyer, not only did they give me the form to fill out, but linked me to rip-off-that's how I found out about it. I've read other complaints and one I can relate to is the merging of AT&T to Cingular. Talk to you in the future.
