M. Pasqualino ripoff Robbed me of $350 with fake emergency story Milano Italy
Noticed a car (Tan Xterra - License# UMJ 16M) was following me in the Lowe's parking lot on 3/27/07 at about 4:15pm. Asked me if I was Italian or if I spoke Italian (he asked in Italian Language). Unfortunately, I am fluent in Italian and asked what I could do for him. Gave me his (fake) business card and told me he lost all of his money in Las Vegas and Atlantic city and needed cash to pay for his rental car. Told me he needed to catch a flight back to Italy and hadn't eaten in two days. I asked to see his identification and he showed me a European Union identification card. He has light brown hair and blue eyes, razor stubble and wearing a dark blue suite. Had a (large) wooden Crucifix around his neck. Against my better judgement I offered to give him cash to pay for his car and to get something to eat. He offered my some fake leather and suede jackets to thank me but I refused. Also insisted that I call his father in Italy to verify his story.
This happend in Old Bridge, New Jersey. A police report was filed.
