MacArthur Park Landmark Residential ripoff moldy park Clearwater Florida
We moved into MacArthur Park on Feb 10, 2004. 3 weeks after moving in we discovered mold growing on the walls, clothing, toys etc: We reported this to the office.They have been aware of this issue for 10 months. They came in and sprayed bleach on the walls. If they researched they would know that bleach does not kill mold.
After talking to other residents we have discovered that mold have been a major issue here. They never disclosed to us there was a problem. They have no proper ventilation for moisture to escape. They have fake vents in the bathrooms and kitchen. Mold test results have shown 4 deadly types of mold in high consentration.They are still renting these apartments knowing that there is a problem.
There is also a fire hazard. In most apartments there is only one exit. Many of the windows that they say can be used an escape due not function. They are spending thousands of dollars to put in a gate but cant clean the mold. They are not even sorry for putting families life at risk. This is a very serious situation.
