I am so done with trying to deal with Maaco, in Lowell. Mike, is the most rude disrespectful person I have had the misfortune of dealing with, I even notified Corporate office explained what I had gone through, they said they would check into it WELL they sure did they called (Mike) at Maaco the one I was complaint about, so Anna (also from Maaco) called me and said "bring it in we will fix the problem at N/C - if you had a complaint you should have just called me not the office". The Corporate office called me for a follow up, I started all over again explaining what I paid for it should be done correct the first time, I told Mike and Anna as well, Mike said to me" we don't sand down the whole car only spot sand, we don't prime before we paint - if  you wanted the rust spot in front taken care of you should have told me"  I explained all this to Corp. I thought painting a car meant the entire car, but not according to them. Corporate office started defending them, enplaning "their a franchise and do things there own why" . I said " the paint is pealing after two months and the front of the van wasn't  painted or even touched at all"  Cooperate office kept defending them, I said you are not listening to anything I have to say you allow them to do a rotten/shorty job  in Maaco name. Shame on you and I hung up!

This is my story, I am on disability and there is no way I could afford another vehicle so I took my 2006 van for an extremist at Maaco what a SUCKER I WAS !

Mike said there was a promotional paint sale that ended that day, so if I wanted the special I had to leave the van that day or miss the sale....  Mike said "if you leave the van here now you can get it back late tomorrow afternoon its slow, I have three guys that can get started right away"  I thought great why not...Hell they even gave me a ride home nice people (ya think?) Well 9 days and 3 thousand dollars later I get to finally get my van back.....Not only have I been lied to by Mike  he looks me in the face and accused me of lying, Checking the van over one of the side doors keep sticking (I said I think it maybe off track) my sister and I stood there for a good 8-10 min. arguing with Mike - he keep telling me I didn't know what I was talking about, they never touched the door they didn't do anything with the side doors ( but I know they did take the doors off)  he said, only the front doors (they supposedly replace the rocker arm-on both side doors) after about 8min or so. I had enough and made him list it on the receipt that if the door got worse I was to take it back to Maaco. I start to drive out and realize my muffler was dragging, I back up, parked and went in, before I said anything he said "we never touched the muffler- we didn't do anything to it" (yup, my muffler was torn off- was not like that when I left it) Okay moving right along just under two month, I am filling my gas tank and look at the back of the van and guess what the paint is chipping of just over two months old. So I bring it back. Okay they will fix it at N/C (like I was about to give them more money) I checked it out all over and the front of the van (on the same side) just under the headlight was not only NOT painted it was all rusted, they actually said "the paint wont stick to rust , and you didn't tell us you wanted that done..." Who are the professionals here??  I asked them when I paid for a paint job I thought it was from one end to the other" he said yes but we don't do the bumpers...... I couldn't believe them, what  I was talking about was NO WERE NEAR the bumper....either he is stupid or thinks everyone else is.... What the heck did I pay for...I am so disappointed... Okay, I am back now for the second time,  I check it out,  looks okay. Good right WRONG!! I get home and walked around the van looked back as I was going into the house and low and be hold there is a large chip taken out of the rim of the door looks like it was slammed into something when it was opened. Now I an between a rock and a hard place... I dont want to deal with them and I am sad to say there is still rust n the front doors so I dont know what I paid for because I most certainly have not secured my vehicle or my finances for the future.
