This is a company that attempts to strong arm it's employees to be extremely aggressive over the phone and get that credit card information no matter what on that initial contact with a prospective customer. The pay is less than minimum wage in fact and the week is 45 hours minus an hour for lunch each day. The reasoning behind all of that is to force the employee to be overly aggressive over the phone and to not respect any customer's boundaries in order to basically bully someone into buying a membership immediately if they are that gullible.
The company pays it's employees on a weekly basis but on the week of Thanksgiving, the company did not pay the employees until the following Monday as the office was closed for Friday after Thanksgiving. Furthermore, Scott Minuta (The owner) made everyone stay until 5:30 which is normal leaving time on the Wendseday before Thanksgiving while his girlfriend who works in the front office left at 2:30 pm. I have never worked for a company that pays on a weekly basis and did not pay it's employees the day before Thanksgiving. There have also been many instances where employees have tried to cash their checks and were told that there were insufficient funds in the company account.
I am absolutely amazed that a company like this can stay in business for 10 years. What is the world coming to? If anyone gets a call from this company, make sure that you allow the primary contact person that they are asking for to speak to the representative and immediately ask to be placed on the Do Not Call List or they will call you no less than 6 to 10 times per day from Monday through Friday in order to get your money.
Once you become a member, they have a whole different department that harrasses you into buying a whole bunch of other things you don't need and that cannot help you at all such as a useless plaque or a man of the year award. Please be very afraid of this company and do not spend your hard earned money with them. I myself was let go due to being too empathetic with prospective customers and being too customer service oriented and not being a total scoundrel trying to dupe old ladies out of their pension money.
