Madison Who's Who ripoff, no cancellation possible, misrepresentation, targetting small business and individuals, they also add extras to your package without permission and bill you. Long Island City New York
I booked a membership with this organization based on a phone call from a representative. Shortly after the call, I found that the company had taken the money from my account immediately. My understanding was that I would receive bio information for my approval prior to being charged.
Five days after the "sale" I received a "welcome packet" I noticed that their cancellation policy required a phone call within 24 hours of the sale... That would be impossible since the representative gave no cancellation policy information or a phone number by which to cancell.
I contacted the company and was basically told "too bad so sad" ... this is a scam geared to small business throughout the country. It is NOT a real Who's Who.. just a certificate mill. The business owner or individual is charged $118.95 for a membership plus $9.95 a month for a chat room membership (even though you may refuse that part on the front end)... for life... you cannot canel the membership, and I have doubts about being able to cancel the chat room membership... I am having to close all my accounts and reopen new accounts to rectify this situation...

I was contacted by Madison Who's Who after submitting an invitation to the organization. Their Editorial Dept. called me shortly after and I decided to become a member. The person I spoke with was more than willing to address any questions or concerns I had. Everything was explained to me and I fully understood what I was signing up for before I provided the associate with my credit card billing information. I will however, admit I had some trouble making my initial business contact. I contacted customer service and spoke with a representative Katie Williams. She was able to comprise my list of contacts for me in a very timely fashion. I did have an issue with a charge on my statement one month. I called immediately and the charge was explained and reversed. It was a fee I overlooked that was clearly stated in my welcome package. I felt it was important I reply to Judith's complaint becaue I have had nothing but a great experience with Madison Who's Who. I find it extremely stupid on Judiths part to give her credit card information to an organization she did not understand. If she found the service of Madison Who's Who to be unuseful-that's her problem for not taking advantage of what the company has to offer. It is unfair to bad mouth a company based upon nonsence. Madison Who's Who delivered exactly what I signed up for-NOTHING MORE, NOTHING LESS!
