Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Our company was asked to do business with Magical Memories by its Director of Sales Steve Lopez. Wow, do we regret it now. They used our homes for their vacation clients to stay in making good profits off our homes and then  when we sent the invoice to collect......... nearly $20,000.00

They disputed nearly $8,000.00 with NO evidence. No cancelations were made known to us or any issues. They communicate largely by fax and will Lie every time unless like us you keep a detailed fax jurnal. I finally got a meeting with the owner Jean Kline ( a convicted criminal who served time for stealing her home owners furniture ) and Steve Lopez to try to settle two months invoices as per our contract and they refused to pay. Unbelievably they wouldn't even pay me for the undisputed amount of nearly $13,000.00.

Instead they kept leaving the room and making me wait while Steve carried out her orders. Steve came back into the room and handed me a check for $4,000.00 and said that the company had NO MONEY. They offered to pay on installments but outlined no pay dates. This company does revenues in the $4,000,000.00 (4 Million dollar range) and employs a medium size staff. They operate from a monster size building that they own on North Poinciana Blvd.

Jean has multiple expensive assets and the son drives a flash Porche and has a mansion in Windermere on the expensive side of town. I'd like to guess how they got it!!! We reported them to Osceola County Tourist Development tax office as they would not offer to pay the tax either. BE WARNED, that if you let these people use your properties they will most likely steal money from you.

If you are a home owner that is contracted with Magical Memories......... check your home and your accounts daily because if they can steal from you they will. I will update this report when I have finished in court.

More lies

This is again just a defence made up of lies.

They owe us a fortune and have no literature to substantiate ANY claim that they can just walk away from a $20,000.00 debt after they collected all the monies from the guests and only passed on to me a token $4,000.00.

Who would not be upset with that.

Well since we posted....... amaizing there are others that have contacted us claiming they are also owed money from this company. We are adding them together to see where we can take it.

Like we said, our attorney has all the literature and we will post once the court battle is over. Then we will see who is telling the truth.

The other side of the story

#3REBUTTAL Owner of company

Fri, November 09, 2012

The above comment was posted by Wayne Gray Property Management, a former manager at the Regal Oaks of Kissimmee. Our company contracted earlier this year with Florida Vacation Shop, a subsidiary of Wayne Gray Property Management, to book Regal Oaks as a travel agency. We soon realized that dealing with Wayne Gray Property Management would be a disaster.

Once we started booking Regal Oaks we found that Wayne Gray Property Management was far from a professional manager. After the first few days of guests booking we noticed that Wayne Gray Property Management did not have standard property management software in place to handle the task of management. We found they kept very poor records of reservations and operations. Wayne Gray Property Managements lack of proper operations left many of the properties they managed in an out of order state costing their owners a lot in lost rental revenue.

First complaints that came in from guests staying at Regal Oaks were that the door entry codes did not work at check-in. Once they received the correct code, they would enter to find most of the time the property either occupied by another party or not cleaned. We realized that our company must check the properties first so that guests would not have to go through these troubles when arriving.

Every day since we had our guests checking into Regal Oaks we would send one of our room inspectors to confirm the property, the door code and the cleanliness. Many times our inspectors had to make multiple trips to the clubhouse to find a property that was ready for check-in. We would often find the properties were cleaned quickly leaving many areas below a basic standard of cleanness. We had many guests check-in and immediately call to complain about the cleanness and upkeep of the property. Many parties ended up leaving immediately after check-in due to the poor conditions. We notified Wayne Gray Property Management of the walkouts, yet they choose not to improve their work methods to satisfy guest concerns.

When we received the first reservation bill from Wayne Gray Property Management it had all of the walk outs still listed for full payment.  Mr. Gray came by our office to discuss the invoice and we notified him that more than 1/3 of the reservations he had listed on the bill cancelled due to poor conditions of the properties. Mr. Gray became very upset and argued with us that this was not true. He became so upset that he stated using the F-bomb over and over. At that point we ended the meeting and walked out. Mr. Gray continued to sit in the conference room demanding that we pay the entire bill. He was instructed to come back with a correct invoice and a better attitude. After some time of him continuing to sit the room we came back with a check to get him to leave. He was instructed at that time that there is no money to pay for the walkouts as that was money was returned to the guest.

The remainder of payment for Wayne Gray Property Management has been put on hold until our company receives a letter of apology from Mr. Gray for the poor attitude from our meeting and slanderous comments noted above. Our company went above its obligations to make sure that guest satisfaction was achieved at Regal Oaks, only to have that generosity insult by a nonprofessional that doesnt share the same understandings.

As to the comments noted above that our company steals from others is completely absurd. We will not be blackmailed period and we will use the courts to solve all disputes, even if that costs us brief shameful publicity. We have over 17 years in business under our belt and the false claims against us have been proven to be just that false. All parties that have tried to hurt us publically are now receiving lawsuits privately.
