Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I signed a contract for Majestic Homes to build me a home in the fall of 2004, It is now the end of 2006 and I am still about 2 months away from moving into my home. The workmanship of the home is RIDICULOUS! Very Poor! I have made several complaints to the customer service department which NEVER returns any phone calls. It has been one problem after another and one lie after another.

All I can say is READ your contract carefully with any builder, however PLEASE DO NOT use Majestic Homes to build your dream home. You will be VERY disappointed!

JPG ENTERPRISES / MAJESTIC HOMES - SUPERIOR BUILDER

Please note that this complaint was filed anonymously and we are unable to answer this complaint specifically, however, the following information may clarify some issues. About the Builder John P. George, President and Owner of JPG Enterprises, Inc. d/b/a Majestic Homes & Realty. Education: Master of Science, Nova University (1977) Bachelor of Science, State University of New York (1972) Associate of Science, Nassau Community College (1970) Teacher of the Year in 1978 for Palm Beach County Since 1983, John George has lived in modified Majestic houses, of which three are still listed in the sales brochure (Liberty Plus, Liberty Plus 4 and a Whitehouse). John George is honored to see that some people consider homes built by Majestic as lavish as any potential home buyer can purchase them for under $300,000. John P. George, President/Owner, donated a brand new home to the Rainford Family as aired on ABC'S Television Show: Extreme Makeover Home Edition in March 2006. Please visit the website: www.extrememajestic.com. As well as satisfy an existing mortgage for the Rainford Family. About Majestic Homes: Majestic Homes is a custom builder. Built thousands of new homes in Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie and Indian River Counties. Full-time Customer Service Department and Warranty Department. Majority of our subcontractors have been doing business with Majestic for over 20+ years. There has NEVER been a legitimate lien on any home. Home Buyers have an immediate equity of at least $30,000 on completion of their new home built by Majestic. Majestic Homes has financially helped numerous homeowners with extra costs and fees incurred by the homeowners from the lending institution. Majestic Homes is Sole Provider of the Superior Wall System in Palm Beach County. Pre-cast solid concrete walls, 400% stronger, with nearly 300% more insulation value and able to withstand 235mph impact. Facts: Our contract states that Certificate of Occupancy will be issued 12 months from the date the slab was poured. Currently offering 7 months or we pay the Buyer $2,000 per month. Contract signing is not the same as closing on your home. Closing has to do directly with the Buyers such as credit, employment verification, etc. which Majestic has no control of, which would affect the delivery time of the home. Every buyer meets with the Builder for the plan review of custom designing of their home. All home buyers have a pre-drywall meeting at their home with the Builder to further reconsider any changes or additions. Majestic can verify that there has never been a building permit issued for any of our houses within 3 days, we wish this was the case. Possible Reasons for Delays: Each home buyer provides their own lot, which again the Builder does not control. A home-site could possibly have unknown setbacks or requirements, which could cause delays in permitting as well as construction. Environmental issues may also cause delays. All home buyers are asked to have Majestic investigate, at no cost, before purchasing. Customized plans could lengthen construction time, however, this personalize the home for our families. Builder provides walk-thru's to Buyers at interior framing. If there are any changes requested by the Buyer to the interior design of home, this would cause a delay. During 2004 & 2005 Hurricane Season, South Florida endured numerous hurricanes causing delays by all building departments and field work. One of the Building Departments closed down and relocated their offices and numerous plans were misplaced. Shortage of building materials due to the damages caused by the numerous hurricanes.
